Super easy. Download the VD file, It's in excel. Then log the parameters when doing a pull. Save the log as a csv td file. Then open it with VD. You'll have to input info about your car and save the profile for your car in the custom list.

Log list is:
Time
Rpm
Throttle position

Opt parameters:
Boost
AFR

Excess fuel?

I'd start the pulls earlier 2200-2500. Looks pretty good for 19psi!

You also need to open the log before importing it into vd and delete the non WOT cells or your curve will look all goofy before you stomped the gas and after you let off.

Yep forgot to note that. It's not Excel based either which I thought it was.

Airboy is the excel based road dyno.

Also, if you're utilizing fast poll in romraider you really need to disable it for dyno runs....or go through and delete all the dual rpm data points. There are a bunch of them in fast poll logs, especially on 16bit cars and they screw up teh curves also since its basically showing the rpm didnt rise over a time stamp increase.

Yep, Airboy is Excel and VD is a stand alone program. Both work well, but I think VD is far easier to use.

Definitely turn off fast polling if you're logging to make a power plot. Not only are there duplicate data points, but there are some that even go backwards! This creates big spikes that can skew the numbers.

Also, VD is set up to automatically trim to only 100% TPS. As long as you don't go WOT more than once in a single log, then it should show you the correct plot without any manipulation.

I did that very swap on my car, g200 to q300, no difference at all power wise, the q300 is still a straight through exhaust, just with a little more bend in the axle pipe section, a larger canister and the rolled tip which i firmly believe is what makes it less raspy. It's still loud after a few days of use, but nowhere near the g200 levels. I love mine, especially the fact that it resembles the oe muffler.

Hope that helps some!

^ there are differences in the plots if you take teh same log and plot it trimmed vs utrimmed. 25-50 ft*lbs difference at low rpm. at least on the log i just checked.

Interesting I did not know that about the less than 100%. I just assumed that you needed to trim that out so I always did. I use the Cobb AP V2b for logging and it's very easy with VD.

Are you saying you get different readings/ plots with and without the trimming of the less than 100% TPS on VD?

I have the full logs and the trimmed logs so I'll have to check that out!

Yes, thats what i said.

Took a log, trimmed out the non 100% throttle, saved as "trimmed"....loaded that file and the origianl into VD....plots are different.

I'll have to check that out. I wouldn't expect that. Does it read higher with or without the trimming? What happens if you don't trim it and move the little RPM sliders?

this particular log, the trimmed data reads higher.

you can see it in the sliders too....trimmed log 3000rpm to 6500rpm, the non trimmed sliders are 800rpm to 6900rpm. its not removing the data like you think it is.
