Default 08 Impreza Help

I have looked at the sticky on intakes and how it messes with the MAF sensors but I still am confused on it. If I were to put a SRI on and reset the ECU, will that fix the problem? Or if I get it tuned will that fix the issue? Also I'm new to this and just want to see a good place to start for intakes and exhaust and suspension so any advice/information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nope. Resetting your ecu will not fix the problem. Getting it tuned will "mask" the issue so to speak, but I still would not recommend running an SRI. Just go with the hybrid setup , it will work better.

So replacing the piping after the MAF sensor will be the best idea? Its a 2.5in right?

I also have 2.5i. Did you ever figure it out. I'm looking for a cold air intake.

I decided that it wasn't worth the hassle and problems it could cause so I'm going to just work on the suspension first.
