Default Calling all Mid Metro Scoobies from the U to Bothell to Magnolia to Greenwood Areas..

I see tons of Subes everyday as I drive around the Lake City area. I know to a lot of folks Lake City is just an area that they drive through on the way to/from work and home. Subarus 4 Life has the Everett/Lynnwod area locked up as do Wayne and the guys @ VTR, Solar Reflections and WorldOne have the south end territory. I'd like to see Subie owners from Edmonds, Bothell, Mill Creek, Greenwood, Magnolia, the University District, Ravenna, Maple Leaf, Green Lake, Victory Heights, Northgate, Fremont, Wallingford, Ballard, Crown Beach, Phinney Ridge, Sunset Hill, Loyal heights, Whittier Heights, Blue Ridge, Wedgewood, Sand Point, Windermere, Laurelhurst, Hawthorne Hills, Cedar Park, Oak Tree, Licton Springs, and Lake City have some events that are local to our area. Someplace like Azteca in Northgate, Dick's in Greenwood, Dick's in Lake City, Ravenna Park in the U. district, or other suitable location(I'm open to suggestions).

If we want to form an actual club I have Photoshop CS2 etc for logos, vinyl mockups, screenprint mockups etc. and we could vote which ones from everyones submissions to make "official " club gear. I know I'm not the only one from the area nor am I proclaiming myself the leader. There may even be a club in the area I am unaware of. I'd just like more stuff to do close to home and to meet my fellow Subie owners and start some new friendships.

We have quite a few meets all around that area. Last one was Juanita Beach. If you are definatly down for meets, well then. Our calender will be updated soon, so be sure to check the Events. It is usually second weekend of every month, so our military members can drill if need be. We do food meets, cruises, car shows, and kick it at each others house.

You are more than welcome to come along and say hi, and if not, then we will see you on the street!

From one scoob club to another> !

I was @ the SIL meet @ VTR a couple months ago in the platslvr bugeye wagon. I couldn't stay as long as I would have liked and had a good time. I would mind having a dual meet with both clubs if people are up for starting one here. I was thinking a good name for the club would be Subaru Enthusiasts Club of Seattle(SECS).

^^^Hey theres my car! Jon threw on a Seibon CF with a reverse scoop, and I took his old RS hood and tossed it on mine with a few *other tasteful mods*. Dual meets would be ridiculously cool, and you know what. SECS would be a great name for a club! I am completely down.

This entire subforum on NASIOC pretty much already represents the vast majority of local Subaru owners. What you're pretty much asking for is the normal meet that's usually posted up here.

I've been to stuff @ VTR, one of the BBQ's @ WorldOne, HIN, SubieFest, stopped by to talk parts @ Solar Reflections, and the D1 @ Monroe. The closest one of those places is VTR which is 10-15 miles away. I'd like to get together with people that are a little more local. People I could call and say "Hey burgers @ Dick's next Wednesday. You down??" People that live closeby and can hang out with locally outside of just meets, ya know?

Wedgwood WHAT!

There used to be a shop here...Garage SPL was right off the Bothell/Lake City Way exit, where there's currently a Mercedes Benz shop. Most of the former employees of Garage SPL are now at World One

Magnuson Park FTW

GDB FAN Yay the vinyls are gone. Looks way better.

Qwikwgn, I'd be down. I live in the U District as well as someone else who posted. I have a STM 00 RS and a WRB 04 Wagon.

People always try to start something like this and it always never happens or something is set up and no one shows up. Good luck. I'd love to give it another shot.

I'm really serious about starting the club. I need to do something Subie oriented to redirect my enthusiasm while I figure out what I'm going to be able to do(or what they will let me do) with the Land Speed Record project I was working on for Bonneville plays out...
