The things a kid will do to try and keep up with a supercharged Raptor. Come on, Granny ought to be able to hold together for a quarter mile.

I bought a WRX motor along with a NA 2.5 block.

I also bought a 92 Legacy Turbo which I pulled the motor out of.

So here's my plans. I am going to build the EJ22t into a 2.36L using forged internals and a 79mm billet crankshaft. For heads I'm planning on using the WRX 2.0 heads with 272 cams. I will try my best to keep this thread updated like last years build but this will cost more money and more time so updates will be a little more spread out.
finally found a picture of the old ej22t

Hood pins? I smell a H6.....

Granny, I am about to turbo my outback and was wondering if you have any special instructions for putting the scoop on the scoopless hood. What did you do that worked well and would you have done anything different?

What's an H6?

It's pretty straight forward. I just centered it, cut it out, and figured out from there how to bolt it down.

Ok so as most of you know I've been doing a long big build for the past few months. It's still won't be done for a week or two but I will start updating now. Hope you enjoy.

Making room for the intercooler and radiator.

V-mount intercooler crudely mounted.

looking good Kaleb, are you gonna angle that intercooler so it makes more of a "v" with the radiator???
