Thanks Hyper!! It looks awesome next to the VF36, now I'm getting excited. I think that's the first side by side shot of a SC46 and VF36/37. Did you go with the 3" inlet? What motor/mods are you running it with? Fuel? Looking forward to your results

it didn't have the 3" inlet option, and it is the biggest sonofab.... to put on, I have APS inlet pipe and the silicone hose just keeps sliding off the turbo!!
I have a whole lot of mods, I will just make a new thread once everything is on

I'm confused. The turbo clearly days blouch on the compressor, yet the exhaust housing is brand new, no donor turbo. So why can't blouch offer the hotside for another $200 as well?

Where do you get that the exhaust housing is brand new? To me it looks like it just has a nice Gray Ceramic coating on it.

I agree, it looks like just a ceramic coating. In other news my turbo has been officially shipped to Blouch. My buddy was supposed to ship it for me while I was out of town but didn't get around to it, so I did it myself today. Time to order a few more things before it's ready.

Did hyper send a donor? I'm assuming he did not, since he had a vf36 to compare it to...

Besides that, it's an option on their website to order with a new housing or send in a donor, thus my point still stands that if it is possible to get one with a new housing, why can't blouch acquire said housings

It's possible those donor housings are reserved for Scoobyclinic.

The Scoobyclinic turbo is a US based turbo though. The Blouch turbos are the Scoobyclinic turbos.

All the pricing is in pounds, and the shipping option drop down only gave me the UK. Guessing you have to call

Perhaps if you ask Kevin at ScoobyClinic, you might be able to buy a housing from them? As Liquid said the SC46 is built by Blouch and they typically have 1 or 2 finished SC46 turbo's sitting at Blouch waiting to be shipped over to the UK at almost any given time it seems... I doubt ScoobyClinic would just release a turbo to Blouch for resale instead though.

Well if blouch will service and support it I'm all for it, that's my only real concern, I'm just trying to avoid downtime from sending in a turbo and putting my car off the road

I think you guys are going to be pretty excited.... After some preliminary testing today with the "baby" Evo turbo (Evo 6.5 RS tme) on a local Mustang dyno, we were able to make 388whp and 436wtq on the break in tune on my new motor. Very little timing, 24psi and e85 as the fuel of choice. Graphs and vids to come, but the car is a tq monster with this little turbo. 391wtq by 4,000 rpm! Time to get the car race ready for tomorrows event!

I believe it's a 2.5 which would explain the massive amount of TQ. Still, should be awesome on a 2.0. I really would love to see it on a EJ207.
