I just got rear-ended..again!!
I just got rear-ended again on my way to work this morning. I was stopped at a light when I looked in my rearview and saw a Chevy Lumina speeding towards me. She hit the brakes way too late and smashed into me.
The cop didn't issue her a ticket. She said I cut her off, which is total BS. I asked the cop "how could I cut her off when I was stopped at a light?" I also asked him, "If I did what she said I did, wouldn't the damage be on the OTHER side of my car?" He just said he had to be impartial, what a load.

Wow dude, there must be some bad "rear end" karma in the air or something. Time for an aftermarket bumper.

That is SERIOUSLY wrong... what the cop did that is!! I would get his badge number make him and the bitch who rearended you go to court becuase WITHOUT a doubt your insurance is going to go up (yes just becuase you were in an accident that was 100% NOT your fault) but even more since there wasn't a ticket issued saying that!!

Dammit, man. I know I'm stating the obvious, but that is a major bummer. I can't believe that you would get hammered TWICE in one day.
I rarely use it, but this monkey goes out to the losers that hit you. :monkey: Good luck with the insurance & getting everything fixed. |

Wow, what are the chances of THAT happening? Sucks man. Can't wait to see your car with the new parts. The OEM underspoiler looks pretty good.

My neck IS killing me. Seriously, it hurts. But I am sure it will be better. It feels like sore muscles.
Anyway, I got my first check today. The cop from accident #2 still hasn't filed a report, so I haven't been able to make a claim yet. If I don't have her info. by tomorrow, I am going to call in some favors (my dad used to be a cop). I just expect to be treated fairly in a timely manner. Is that too much to ask? <----Yeah, probably. I think that I'll keep my exterior stock. That way when the next moron forgets which pedal is the brake, the claim will be easy to file. Thanks to all for the sympathy. |
