Default AMS UK / AMS Performance Subaru Time attack project car

Well many of you have asked when or if we were going to build a Subaru Time attack car to rival that of our current EVO race cars. Well we were able to do the next best thing. We have partnered with AMS UK / East coast customs of northern Ireland to build a full Time attack GC8 Race car.

The boys at AMS UK have been hard at work and have been documenting all of their hard work.

Click the link below to keep up to date on the countless pictures and hours that are going into this project.

We would love to but with developing parts and the cars we are building in house we just do not have the time nor the space to do so.

Nice build so far, I really like what you did with the pedal box. Tein coilovers though? Come on, you can do better than that...

The intake manifold is still being worked on. We actually have our first cast sample coming in the next week.

The turbo kit is done. I am finalizing pricing right now for an official release next week.

The Tein coilovers are just for mockup. The widebody kit is custom. Entire car is going to be done in carbon fiber.

You guys are brutal man.I understand when you get upset when we post up EVO content on here but I don't see where the animosity is coming from with this car. I would of thought you would be into a build like this.

And yes this car is being built to run up and try to beat the gobstopper

Thank you to those that appreciate the work going into this build. This is a HUGE undertaking.

no offense to about the people that posted in this thread hating on ams

but ur heads are up ur asses

its the same bull**** when Al from dynoflash started posting what were believed to be unreasonable numbers in PPB, dont be jealous that people are completely change the sport

i dont get why u guys hate on them, they could build a pink yougo that looks god awful and i would still appreciate there work

they are one of the few company's pushing the limits of our cars using engineering and thinking outside the box, not just slapping in a new motor and coilovers, they are rasing the bar for our sport

they tried to build a twin scroll engine which, if worked could have allowed people to run 42rs with the spool characteristics of a 30r and half the other stuff they did is also pushing the limits of design and competition

if nothing else, they diserve your respect for what they do for out sport

/ rant

+1 the hate on here is proabably a factor as to why suby parts from AMS aren't high on the priority list. i'm suprised they are even developing any for this whiny ass crowd. seriously, they are one of the best shops period, give them a ****in break and just appreciate the work . people post other cars on here everyday. get over it. it's better than looking at another ****ing impreza with rota's and mudflaps....but yeah, that euro AMS is unknown to me cool build none the less. it's just funny AMS posts suby built content and nasioc still hates on them

it's not that they're upset about the evo content cause ALL of your work is amazing. they just wish you would put that same magic into just 1 shop subaru i, for one, am always amazed by what you guys are able to do. i think we're just waiting on you guys to take the subaru community to the next level!

keep up the amazing work as always. hopefully, you guys will have some time in the future to show us what you can do with a subaru

lol at all these people thinking i hate the work they do...

i love the work and effort they put into parts....but do i see any of this actually being put to use in the subaru world....not really....we have a turboback exhaust and proboly an intake and tuning....

the intake manifold and turbo kit looked realll promising but its taking forever...i understand good R&D and i don't want a half ass'd part but it seems like there more into the EVO deal....which whatever...this is just nasioc....i want subaru parts

The OP is a nice car and i'm sure it'll be great....but does nothing for me really...its in another country and its not going to benefit me one bit other then eye candy over the net
