STi V7 Type RA struts & springs - Great for street or track
I have a set of STi V7 Type RA struts and springs from my 2002 WRX sedan. The setup was purchased from Rallispec about a year and a half ago. The struts have about 10,000 miles on them, I swapped out the springs for Prodrives, so the STi springs have about 7,000 miles (I've already sold the Prodrives - sorry). The spring rates are 217# front and 190# rear. This is essentially the same as the SPT spring/strut kit. I noticed no drop whatsoever, but then again, I never measured it. I've heard some say 1/2" drop - I wouldn't count on any lowering with these springs.
Everything is in great condition including the dust boots and rubber spring insulators. Top hats are not included, although I can give you the front upper spring perches if desired. This is a great setup for both street and track days. I'm getting a little more serious about setting the car up for track so have gone with coilovers (Bilstein PSS-9's for those who are interested). The set is currently listed at $1,275 from Rallispec, I paid $1,100 when I bought them. Looking for $750. Can deliver to most COM events, or local to CT/MA/RI. Shipping extra elsewhere. Thanks, -Keith- <Edited to add body style - sedan & other info & add pictures> Front spring color dots are purple, green & pink Rear spring color dots are green, orange & yellow

Bump for a good deal, and a good dood. Keith, where did you get the coilover system from? I was looking at a similar setup from Primm.

Thanks Seth,
I got the setup from a seller here on NASIOC - a deal I couldn't pass up. Have some minor fitment issues to straighten out (my SSR's & 235/45 17 RA 1's are rubbing the coilover adjusting collar) but they seem to be working very nice otherwise. Hope to see your new track ride soon! -Keith- |
