Question 98/00 Impreza Outback Sport project

Hi- I'm out in WMass, here's the deal: my daughter had a nice manual Impreza wagon with 60K miles & tboned a Volvo that cut in front of her, deploying airbags, ruining front subframe etc. I bought the wreck, pulled everything and cut off the bent stuff, then cut off the rusty hind quarters of my Outback Sport wagon & pulled the shot transmission and high mileage motor. I need someone who could make the proper cuts & do the welding to splice these together. There's a guy in the next town over who has the plasma cutter & mig welder to do this, but he's always busy plus is not a Subaru kinda guy. Any suggestions? I'd go for a nice rustfree shell ( I had a 97 2 door lined up but the deal fell through ) but there's precious few of them in New England

That sounds like a lot of work/expense. I just purchased a cherry 97 OBS for $3k on ebay with 83k miles. I'd probably look around for a used ride in good shape before doing all that work. Good luck with whichever route you choose.
