A cart does look like it could be fun. Even better if you are a 4 years old. Lucky kid.....How's mom feel about that?

Mom has no say in this matter it is simply the way it will be! He drives my riding mower around the neighborhood so the safer option is a cart that will do 80 mph right?

I rejoined BMW CCA yesterday to qualify to run their autocross series. My son will likely co-drive. No idea what car we'll be driving yet, but the whole idea is to learn the boy, so I don't plan to be competitive. Could be the CRX or the Lotus or my son's got his sights on a 350Z.

Should be fun. Last time I was competitive in autocross was 1996 or 97, when I won the BMW series for M cars (1st in every race) and took home fastest lap of the year. If I can find the course at all this year, I'll be happy.

I thought you had Star Specs. What are you running? I'm just going to use these for the events and take them off for daily driving. Hope to get a few years out of them. Just need to find some spare rims now and squeeze these puppies onto a 7 inch wide rim (235's).

225/50/16 in these:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....10XL&tab=Sizes

They are 1 step below a Star Spec

My biggest problem is that (like an idiot) I ran all the events last year on a stock alignment, and with 0 neg camber on the front I pretty much ruined the outer edges.

Any one planning on going to Race-A-Rama?

Looks like they could use some of our cars in their displays.

After being in the 60's the other day it did. Being in the 30's today, not as much.....

Can't wait to try the Z1's out. I left everything else alone just so I could see what would be effected with these.

On scca site signing up now. There is a place for referral if anyone wants to give their first/last name and member number. I think it might offer a discount, it's worth a shot.

I was going to try for the expo but need to leave early. If there is lots of snow not worth the effort for Saturday. But they did extend the expo iinto Sunday.

..:: WEATHER NOTES - SHOW UPDATES ::..
The Racer's Expo is ON! even with the snow coming,
and now EXTENDED into Sunday. New Hours:
Fri. - 4PM to 9PM Sat. - 11AM to 9PM Sun. - 9AM to 2PM
