Thought about driving the BRZ down, but may not be able to escape work.

Those cars sound stout. Weather looks to be cool with relatively little wind next weekend, so should be a good chance for you guys.

Have fun, and stay safe!

I'm the Operations Manager at Henderson Performance Technologies here in New Braunfels, TX. We've got a few cars going up there this weekend. Two 5th Gen Camaro guys, one is hoping to break the World Record for the 5th gen Camaro in the standing mile (dynotuned this past weekend at just under 1200rwhp with conservative boost, he's hoping to go 220mph) and the other is just hoping to break 200mph. I'm pretty sure we'll have a couple other cars up there as well, possibly a CTS-V, I just can't remember who all registered at this point, haha.
I doubt I'll be able to go since there is still office work to be done, I'm really looking forward to hearing some results though! I hope whoever is going has a great time, it should make for a good weekend I'd imagine!

I'll for sure be there at least one day this weekend. My cousin is hoping to hit 200 in his 1g DSM. I'll be coming from Corpus if anyone wants to caravan out there. I doubt I'll be in the STI though, most likely will be in the FXT (wifey and kiddo will be tagging along).

For those running you should see a strong cold front Saturday afternoon and Sunday. This should really help those running boost and eleminate the normal 10-12mph headwind. .

Saturday is the busiest day for both cars running and the crowds. IIRC, admission is $20 and parking is in the grass/dirt. It's taken me up to an hour to get in but that was a few years back.

Bring a chair, food & drinks.

Yeah, it seems to be much nicer at the new venue. Haven't seen huge lines the last three events, but then again I'm always distracted by the car I'm crewing on.

AWD, see you guys there! I'll have your shirts.

Yep, pretty sure all the parking is paved at Chase Field, but not absolutely sure since I haven't been as a spectator.

I hope everyone has a good time in Beeville! We're hoping to break a couple records this weekend with Robert's Camaro and Dan's CTS-V! I wish I could have gone, sometimes it sucks being the office guy, haha.

Wait I think I just met some of your crew! Great runs!

Our Subarus both just made their first pass. They have to license up so neither were allowed to go over 165mph.
Will is on a low boost map (26lbs) and taking it easy and did over 160mph at the 1/2 mile mark. He slowed down and finished at an easy 149mph.
Orestes is only running his 92 oct map right now at 27lbs. He had about the same time in the 1/2 mile mark but wasn't able to slow down enough and finished at 167mph.
Both have licensed up. Next pass can't be faster than 180mph.
I'll keep you guys posted

Weather looks awesome. Currently showing 17mph N wind with gusts to 25. Knock those licenses down, and get on it!

Still thinking about sneaking out for a 1000mi road trip this weekend.

Sure that's not a GTX3582 with a 1.06 A/R TS hotside? I'm not certain, but I believe Garrett only makes 76mm and 82mm exducer size GTX compressor wheels that mate with the 35r turbine.

No. We hauled it in our enclosed trailer. Needed to bring tools, fluids, gas, tents, food, drinks, people... You get the point.

Just finished our second round of passes for the day. Will just ran a 194.5mph pass at only 26lbs of boost. He's tuned for 32lbs so there is so much left in it!
Orestes had an amazing second run, but the AP did something funky and so Keith is fixing it now.
Everything is going great with both cars, so we feel real good about tomorrow's runs. We've had some rain here today and are expecting a storm here shortly so I don't foresee any more passes for the day.
We've been posting live updates and pictures on our Facebook all day, so feel free to check that out!

I was kidding. He is one of the few that normally drives it there and drives it home. Any videos of the runs?
