Ha. She asked once. Then started laughing, already knowing the answer.

I don't think that will work! She drives a mazda3 non turbo. She's always telling me "wow its crazy how much faster your car is. You can tell it has much bigger balls than mine"

You could always convince her to turbo her car just to show her the difference!

i think its funny how many people complain about wives not understanding the car thing but you never let them drive, help, or get involved. makes zero sense to me. my wife is a car enthusiast right along with me.

my wife drives my car whenever she feels like and as long as I dont have plans for it, i let her take it. The only thing she complains about is having to park it away from everyone. she even sends me pictures of how far away she parks, lol.

good excuse to throw in a stronger clutch? worst case scenario.

best case scenario, she surprises you and catches on quick and doesn't ride the piss out of it. its up to you to teach her, thats the whole point and the fun of it.

taught my wife on a very nice 90 crx I had, took 30 minutes in a target parking lot. she was driving her 99 civic ex 5speed the next day.

My wife drove my car for a year while I was in Korea. She hates it. She's a bitch.

Nah. I tried to teach her many times in my impreza before I got the WRX. We never got out of the parking lot before she would freak out. Her window is gone...

I should also mention that I am also already planning on a tranny swap because this one is on it's way out. Maybe when I have the tranny lined up I might let her try again.

My wife took my '11 WRX to work because I had to change the oil on her CRV. When she gets home she says, "I love driving your car! It is so fun. Oh and BTW, a cavalier with a fart can thought he was fast so I had to show him how slow he was." ....Not really sure how I feel about this.

When you drive a 2011 wrx with 20k miles on it and the center console lid no longer latches. And you have to wonder if Subaru designed such a useless latch on purpose or on accident.
