Default chair squeaks, very annoying!

i have an 02' wrx and my driver's chair wont stop squeaking, everytime i move, any solution on stopping these sqeaks.

its not the actual hinges its like inside of the chair its hard to explain.

Are you sure it is the seat? I have a squeak on my 03, but it is the seatbelt rubbing against the holder, where it is attached to the pillar.

you might wanna check where the seat bolts to the floor. remove the seat and look at the metal underneath. if you see scuff, or scratch marks that's a sign that the seat base is rubbing and causing the squeak. if it is rubbing, put some thin foam tape between the seat base and floor.

Mine definitely squeaks where the seatbelt leaves the pillar, did anyone find a solution?

Funny...I have a 04 and the seats just started squeaking a few weeks ago.

Mine squeaks too! I am going to take it out and rebolt it in and see if that fixes anything.

Check scooby mods. If we're talking about the same thing you have to trim off a small piece of plastic. Easy 3-4 minute mod.
