Here is my Impreza that I got back in May of 2012.

I have done outside work although I am looking to slowly work on the engine. I want to maybe get a cold air intake. Could anyone refer me to a thread with some good reviews/opinions?
Those five spokes look great.

I would forget the cai though.

The one that I found was at Russ' Garage, an awesome local Subaru shop. We were working on my exhaust setup and he told me about an FRS they had just put a Perrin Exhaust on. They still had the stock FRS exhaust sitting in the shop, which is when we compared it to my stock Impreza exhaust.

For those who haven't looked already, the 5-Door Impreza exhaust attaches to only 3 of the 4 hangers mounted on the underside of the car. The BRZ/FRS exhaust can fit onto those 4 hangers without any modification to the car or the muffler.
My friend got back to me $250 Canadian for the stock BRZ exhaust including the mid pipe, installation is included in the $250 at the shop he works at. Should I pull the trigger?

I have an K&N Apollo http://www.knfilters.com/universal/apollo.htm

I had it installed for a while but took it out eventually because it gave me a CEL. I liked the whooshing noise. Especially when under acceleration, MPGs seemed slighly better as well.

I think I might revisit this and install the intake again at a later time.

I would just recommend sticking with the stock air box though, I got that intake because it was going for cheap.

I had a Cold air intake from K&N on my old 93' Jeep Grand Cherokee...while it sounds cool, I can't say I saw any difference performance wise. I had a knock off CAI on my 02' Subi Outback Sport and same thing..sounds cool, but no real performance kick. I live in CA too and had to swap the damn things out every smog check, kind of a hassle.

An intake won't add 50hp or anything like that.. It's mostly for sound. I mean, depending on the shape and length (SRI vs CAI) you'll gain a little low or high end, but it's nothing insane. My Injen intake was smog friendly. haha

You can have an intake in CA only IF it has a CARB sticker on it..

However, depending on the cop, they can either accept/deny it and can send you to state ref. It is easier to stay stock, especially since an intake is really sound on a N/A car.

I thought I would share mine. It's a bit grainy because it's a cellphone shot, but I thought the car looked like it was in its natural habitat.

Every Wednesday at 6pm, a few guys meet me up at the dealership. We talk, take pictures, wait for others to show up. We leave around 6:30 and cruise together to a local sports bar that hosts weekly meets for our group.

You can see more details and photos of our meets on this thread> Omaha Weekly Meets

If it's Satin White Pearl and it doesn't have the fog light kit with chrome surround, it's a Sport Premium, which will have an Ivory cloth interior.

The wheels for my 2013 Sport Premium arrived just yesterday. In the infamous words of Ludacris, "I just bought me and my cars all some brand new shoooes".

Brand new WRX wheels from Subaru? I hope you got a steal of a deal on 'em... I searched here on NASIOC to find mine used because the new price of 'em was WAAAY to high for me.

Regardless of what you paid for 'em, they're gonna look AWESOME on your Impreza Sport!

Haha I did not pay full price for them! They brand new from subaru, and My car was delayed by about twice as long as they originally said it would take to arrive. I strong-armed my dealership in to getting these for me as a concession at a largely discounted price. Also, Thanks man! I'm really excited. I am trying to decide what Kind of lugs I should get, I'm thinking anodized red. Just as an accent to match the tail lights. I planned on painting my calipers black, and tinting my windows to about 35% all the way around.

Oh ho ho! Gotcha! Were you planning on getting these wheels at some point anyways and saw the opportunity? Just curious what made you move in on these wheels.

I was planning on it indeed, I really like them, and I love the idea of having the aftermarket wheel look, set off by the Subaru center caps. I also got some all-weather floor mats, an extended center console, a leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and a cargo-carrier! I hate to be that guy, but being a jerk to people in the sales industry will get you a lot of stuff.
