Default A/C Controll Issue

So, my knob is stuck on defrost in my 02 WRX. It is hot as **** here n Texas n I'd like to use my AC lol. Any write ups or ideas of how to go about this?

It's a cable control, the cable is either broken or stuck. Get under the dash and have a look.

I don't have to pull anything out? It's all visible from underneath? And thanks.
