EDIT: Celery's sarcasm eluded me.
does it really? i guess all those subtle mods aren't working, i need some teal wrap or some ridiculous wheel color to NOT look like every other WRX.

i disagree but to each his own. The chrome is a subtle break in the black and highlights the line. I suppose it depends on how murdered out you want to be though. I've never liked it when done to subis or audis.

My apologies. I wasn't hating on your car at all. It is very clean. I won't ever understand the point of those super low setups but to each their own. I was speaking more towards those who thought it looked completely different just because of that drop. Didn't mean to offend. Do your thing!

I'm not offended...just more wondering how my car looks like everyone elses. I'm one of few sedans with an 08-10 STI bumper, which only came on hatches. Carbon, JDM parts, bags, wheels, etc. I get it's all off the shelf, but still.

Also, it's bagged, I can be at any height I want. Lower than any coilover set up and as high as stock if I wanted.

It's really just an observation about how no one radically changes the looks of these cars, its all little subtle things, which are great but they don't warrant some of the over the top responses.

I do really like the black RPF1's though and the snow photography

and as far as the bumper goes, you changed the fog covers which are the most noticeable difference

Even basic observation shows that the 08-10 doesn't look like an 11+. What I'm saying I guess is we basically look at all these pics all day, not a single one of us really looks (or maybe really knows and can observe) and see's what is actually done to cars. Does everyone pick up on little things, no. We're all guilty of it.

Oh, and you suck celery. lol

The crazier your comment, the more attention you will get. Look at TV today, most reality shows/hosts are bat**** insane haha! I hope NASIOC isn't the Bravo of car forums, I would feel empty and sad inside...

I like the black on black look, RPF1s are common but there is nothing wrong with a classic and clean look. The shots in the snow were great too because the contrast is apparent. If these are a temporary solution to beating the white wheel trend I'd call it a win haha!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and its a forum, anything goes and I get that. But just because you can't SEE the modifications, doesn't mean they aren't there. I think the whole "that's not original" BS is way overblown because its evaluating a mass production vehicle that people are bolting on parts to. Its unfortunate people don't take the time to read a build or reasearch the car when its so easy, more often than not I am blown away once you find out some of the build details of engines/trans/suspension/fabwork/etc that has been documented on here. Its not like we all ordered Bughatti's and happened to customize them the same way, these are $25K-$40K cars haha!! Grow up!

Okay this thing about hating on others cars is crazy. If it's not your car, why say anything negative about it? C'mon guys "to each their own." If someone has reps, maybe they can't afford really nice wheels or don't really want to spend that much even if they could. If it's little things you can't notice, then who cares? The owner knows his car and every little piece of blood sweat and tears that went into it. Learn to respect.

No one is hating on anyone. He was asking what makes the car different, that was what started the convo. No on mentioned a single thing about reps or whatever.

BTW the argument of not affording nice wheels so buying reps is ok, is a joke. You can get Enkeis, SSR GTV, Gramlights, etc for just a bit more than Rotas, XXR, etc. Not to mention you can get them used less than reps. That's just a cop out IMO. Just saying.

Ok so I have all the performance stickers that I wanna use, I don't wanna look like a ricer but love the way most of them look.. I need pics of rides that are using them and where the placement is. I just need a good general idea to get me started..
