Default sti swap into 02 wrx

hey whats up
i have a 02 wrx and i want to do a full sti swap. i have the complete drive line and ej25 short block sitting my garage. i think all i need is a new head gasket. im going to use a 1.3mm to keep the compression lower. is there something else i need for the engine swap like new wiring or sensors? i will be useing my ej20 heads on the ej25 block.

so far i have pulled everything off of an 04 sti that was wrecked. the guy who owns the sti will let me take what i need for the dccd to work but i dont know to take.

i live in clifton park new york so if anyone wants to give a hand or just give advice let me know. it will be done in my garage and i will have pizza/beer.

Ive heard its a real PITA to convert gas tanks over to work with the STi system. I used an 04 sti gastank in my car pretty much just to make the swap a million times easier.. plug and play, no splicing back there. I have wiring from front to back and the fact that I just had to bolt up the gas tank and plug it in made things a good bit easier. I have to do enough splicing as it is! Good luck.

this what i got for $4000

-sti 6spd
-hubs
-sub frame
-axels
-rear diff
-sti motor mounts
-sti tranny mounts
-sti sway bars
-sti clutch
-sti flywheel
-ej25 short block

the mods i have now on my wrx are the cobb ap,turbo xs tmic, sti 565cc pinks, aps cold air, blitz ebc, and the vf39. the setup ran great on the 2.0L but first went on the tranny with 3 weeks. i will be selling the turbo xs tmic so i go with a fron mount. and i will be selling my ej20 short block with the whole stock drivetrain.

when i get the swap done i would like to be running a low 12 with the vf39. in a couple of months ill be going with the gt30r and new injectors.
