Thumbs down Ohhhh Uncle Ben.... where is our money???

Scammed us out of a heat shield and a measley $73.17 bucks.

Paypal revoked/withheld the funds which were posted from a fraudulent account, fraudulent activity according to their investigation.

Now Mr Yong refuses to answer pm messages or emails.
Yet he is on here every day?
hmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

It's simple really.
just pay us what you owe us. It's not like it's a lot of money.

I should have known better when he came to me and asked to paypal us "direct" rather than place an order on our site.

My bad. It wont happen again.

Yes and as I am discovering

His last order has gone fraudulent as well.

That one is still under investigation and Customs officials are involved.

Not someone I would recommend doing any kind of business with.

Maybe it is a mix up.

If its any consolation to you Jamie, the grill I paid him $150 bucks for just showed up in my mailbox about a day ago, as arranged. Drama-free.

So there's still hope, I guess. I hope you eventually receive the same courtesy.

It's more complex.

If paypal wants, they will still deduct the $ anyway, leaving you a neg balance, or "overdrawn" account. If you refuse to pay, they send you a copy of the agreement you are bound to as part of the sign-up process.

Then the debt collector calles/writes you weekly.

PayPal is an e-bank, too, so you can count on lots of damage to your cred score if you f with them.

Also, the next thing you sell will not post until the neg balkance is replenished.

In otherwords, if you owe PayPoo $45, and sell s $55 item, you'll have a $10 balance, minus fees, of course...

Exactly

of COURSE we do not carry a balance in paypal

the reversed the charges and deducted the fees from our account

NOTHING we can do about it

Paypal is convenient for many, so it has become a necessary evil

Personally, I would prefer not to do business with them at all and do not recommend them to anyone.

I bought Tein Flex coilovers from him. He asked to have it paid with a certified check, not Paypal. I guess I was lucky, I received the coilovers on july 10th, they looked to be in great condition. I installed them yesterday (sept 06), yea I know, I should of install them right away but didn't have time. Well, one of the rear coilover is blown. I drove about 100km (60 mi) with them, from my house to get the car aligned and back.

I'm kinda pissed. He told me they had 10 - 12k and were riding perfect when he removed them from his car. He was a NASIOC member since 2002 and had a great feedback record.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1287740

Jamie, I have his work location address. That's where I sent the certified check.

Regards

Kos

Default Just a suggestion

Kosmic, jigga, and Jamie, you guys have enough information to make him uncomfortable. Kosmic has the jerk's work address. With a little research, you guys can get his work phone number. Google is a great tool. All three of you should call his company and inquire as to his supervisor's name. Advise his boss, ALL THREE OF YOU, the type of person he is. Remember, once a thief, always a thief. Make the boss understand that he is harboring a dishonest employee. Try to illicite sympathy. Even if you recover nothing, his boss will certianly question him, which will make him awkward and embarrass him. After all, how can he dismiss or explain three complaints to his character by three separate people in three different states?

thought i would resurrect this thread for info for others..

To answer the question, the person called his cc company claiming a fraudulent transaction.

The cc company extracted the funds back from Paypal

Paypal came to me looking for the funds that was extracted to them and gave me a negative balance. in addition, threatened legal action and collectors and the like if i did not pay them.

I should note that i did not carry a balance in my paypal account either. they just gave me a negative balance for the amount that was extracted from them

Do not hijack someone else's thread. If you have a problem with a NASIOC transaction, go to the original thread and post in there. Then you may report the thread to the moderators using the "report post" button for further action.
