i have found my next car. sure, maybe i won't be able to afford it until i'm out of residency, but, wow, it hits all of the right buttons. double wishbones. awd. fast from the factory. gauge display that puts my old DTEC to shame. huge brakes. lighter bodyshell than a 350Z.

wow.

I think this is the first car where i've liked the production version more than the concept version.

Hi-Res anyone??!!

That may be the MSRP, but how many of these cars do think will actually be sold for less than $100K? My guess is none. Most will be bought by the car dealership themselves, or the owner, and then auctioned off. Remember the premiums and "Market Value Adjustment" the Viper, hell even the Mini Cooper S carried? My local dealer still adds 5K onto a 2007 Forester XT! lol.

Cars like these are paybacks for the dealer, for all those times we consumers come into the dealership with our edmunds report and internet printouts demanding $1 over invoice, to make a sale. Sucks, but unfortunately, its the American way.. The only way it will change is not to pay it, but theres always some tools out there with more money than brains that perpetuate this model =(

I don't see a problem with any Nissan dealership working on them. The motor is just a variation of the current HR motor.

Rumor has it that the ECU in the GT-R is tamper proof... For now

Yes, only $79,998.78 more to go and this car will be mine.

Also, how much can I get for 94 FWD Impreza that's being held together with ductape?

The performance is impressive. I think the concept was cleaner, though.

This will have the title of most people claiming they are going to buy one prior to actually sitting down and calculating how much this will actually cost to own.
