That's awesome! Hahaha. When I get a gopro I wanna take my grandma for another ride. I feel like it'd make a hilarious youtube video.

Btw, I'm a terrible grandson if you can't tell. Lol

I let my mom, who is 62, drive my car for the first time not long ago. The woman has not driven a stick in years and assures me she is a "pro". I was skeptical to say the least. I let he take it by herself. I was also worried cause I'm lowered on coilovers but not slammed. She backed out of her short, steep drive way like a ****ing pro. She then takes off not slipping the clutch or jerking the car at all. She proceeds to punch it up the hill behind her house and she's gone. I can hear her in the distance, she rev matches, downshifts and punches it again until i cant hear it anymore. The road is a big loop and i hear my car coming, fast. She downshifts and flys by her house at about 70 ( she lives far away from other houses and kinda off the beaten path). She finally comes back about ten minutes later, entering the drive at an angle that someone with a lowered car would always do, looks at me and says,
"That's how you do it sonny boy. I need one of these".
Me and my cousin just sat there laughing.

No kidding.

My wife had to take my STI to run some errands during the day while I was at work (I had her car to show it to a potential buyer at work that day). She said a truck full of guys did a triple take and were pointing and glancing over once they realized it was a woman driving the car. She said they looked quite surprised to see her driving it.

Jesus
I wasn't referring to his reply. My comment was pointed towards the fact the guy actually asked if it was a V4 as if companies actually still put them in cars.

I have a 3" straight pipe on my car from the turbo back and had my dad listen to the sound when I installed the exhaust. He goes "ya, those V8's can sure sound nice". I laughed and told him it was half of that.

Had my hood popped at the shop and one of my buddies pulled up, got out, walked straight up to me, pointed to the alternator and asked in all seriousness, if it was the turbo. I give him **** to this day. And that was at least a year ago.. Haha worst part is he had been around subarus for a couple years at that point.

I've got the same setup. After I did it my dad won't stop asking me "how is the scion?" I honestly don't even know why.
