I was there but I couldnt make it to the city until like 12;30, im sure you were all gone by then. I raced a Mazda MX-6 (not even close, dont know why i wasted my gas on him) and a majorly hooked up DSM, beat him too. I left after that. Any of you guys see/experience anything cool? The guy in the Mazda asked me if I had a turbo when he pulled up at the stoplight (before we raced). I can't go anywhere without someone asking me about my car or commenting on it. I like this exclusivity that im experiencing

Accurit,
It was a good time even though it was short... Front st and Darien were rolling pretty well for a while. At one point there were about 200 cars on Darien. Dan,Jet & Phil... its a shame you guys didnt make it before the cops got really pissed off and blocked us all in an intersection. There were 4 lanes of traffic trying to make a left into 2 lanes at one time while the cops block the right turn lane onto Front. We bailed out around 12:30 after chasing cars around for a while and hitting every spot within the city limits, and after a few failed attempts to find the other 3 i-clubbers. I did hang out with a guy driving a WRX who raced and spanked an integra type R, an integra GSR and a sunfire (why did he bother?) He wasnt an I-clubber and had no clue about subes so far. I told him about the page so who knows if we'll see him anytime soon. He almost got waxed by a mustang... This scared the **** out of me and him even more... After he raced the integra he turned around to back in next to me, he was still rolling forward so reverse was giving him some problems. Here hi is struggling to find reverse in the near race lane! A mid 90's GT and a newer F-body TA were roaring down the road, the stang was about 1 car behind the TA and saw the WRX was parked he locked em up at about 80-90 and swerved with about 10' to spare before rear ending the WRX. Whew that was too close the guy was scared ****less. Maybe next weekend will be better. Accurit keep in touch let me know if you guys are getting together again. Man this replay got really long.

Wow! I don't know what to say. I'm surprised so many Scoobies are showing up at the Philly races. I must be getting old though because I kind of worry about the scene now. Too many stupid, careless drivers up there now and it'll get worse after the school season is out.

My advice: Whatever you do, do not park in on the street the racing is taking place on. You can get blocked in, especially on Front. I escaped this once by going behind some buildings, over a railroad track, through a fence, up a grass hill and right onto I-95. Yes, it was scary and people were getting huge tickets and losing licenses. Be careful guys!

Since people seem so careless now, I don't want to see any of you get into a bad accident. The cops are relentless too. *sigh* I sound like some parent or something now. Lol! Never thought this day would come when I'd say these things about the street races. I haven't been up there in a good while for good reason. Just starting to seem very dangerous with the people all highed up walking around doing stupid stuff.

Good luck guys!

BTW: *Here I go* If any of you have a video camera and can send a movie to me via internet, could you please film me racing a Yellow Dodge Viper? If so, I'll pay you for the mph/avi video. I'll send him email if you could do this. We have a 2nd race that we have to finish between us. L8Rs

Paul,

What did you think of the Audi? JD and I had a great drive at Sawmill... something about breaking 100 in the woods makes you not quite as scared to do crazy things on the street. Are you going to try and race that guy again next weekend? Let me know so we can get another meet going and see that guy get embarassed by a wagon, or an M3 either way it will be great to watch.

Brandon
