This kit will give you 202hp at the wheels on the dyno with 3" exhaust and air water IC added (about 75hp over stock). A stock WRX made 156 on the same dyno and another did 165.

I've got a vishnu kit! its bad Ass. I never got a chance to run it at the track becaues my stupidity killed the pistions. I ran my buddy that was running a 14.2 at the track, and i walked away from him without any problem!!! then I put some 87octane in it and knock knock boom!!!!! 3 pistons are junk!

At the time I was out of gas and that was the only thing they had! I was going to go ten min down the road and put some octane booster in it. but it didn't make it that far! I have the tec hooked up to it, and running on the edge of performance and Boom! OOPS! BOOM!!! oh well I'll just have to build a motor that will hold 25PSI and 9,000RPM. (listen to the trans go SNAP) The on going battle of performance!

I just decided that I'm going to turbo my RS as well. I went down to a reputable turbo place called Blue Ribbon Turbo in LI, NY. They are offering the kit and installation for good prices.
The kit, installed, w/o an intercooler runs for about $3,500 and with an intercooler for about $4,700.

My question is : Is an intercooler needed? I know that with an intercooler I can run more boost and thus more hp but what are other side effects?

I have the Vishnu everything kit which includes Tec-2, fuel rails, 550 RC injectors and etc............ It is a very nicely done turbo kit with quality components.

Performance right out of the box with Shiv's MY00 turbo base map (which does not have a boost map, just running on the ~7psi WG spring), I was easily beating a friend's WRX that ran a 13.6X in the 1/4 mile. I have not been to the drag strip myself.

Just yesterday, I finally came around to playing with the GPO (boost) map to get about 9-10 psi as quickly as possible (got it at about 3600 rpm) and hold it there till redline. Damn!! The car is so much quicker now, gets to redline a lot faster and pulls so hard, almost too hard for comfort. Have to resist temptation for more boost or I'll surely join Jeff22 in the blown engine club.

I have the ludespeed stage 3 kit but i ditched the engine management that it came with it and went with a link plus. the turbo was a little laggy going up a windy road but then again my suspension was having a tough time keeping the car balanced. i absolutely love my kit but i need more boost

the stock fuel rails are fine as long as you do the parallel mod. the injectors are RC's so they can be seen/bought at www.rceng.com

I thought that RC last said that they were still proto-typing a set for the EJ25 motor? Besides I was hoping for some 550's since after a spare motor is built I want to run more boost.

If I recall correctly, Minnam isn't around anymore. I never really paid much attention to it because I wasn't/still am not realdy to go FI.

If I do, it's definitely going to be a low boost, low maintainance kit...I'm lazy.

I am still worried about turbo-ing my car. You guys never had any problem with transmission? Is it your daily driver?

I've had a Minnam Stage 1 for more than 2 years and no problems until now. I noticed that the down pipe is REALLY rusting away and may be good for another year. By then, I should either have a new engine or a new kit. As for HP gains, I never got the car dynoed. No tranny problems attributable to the kit itself.
