Thanks guys.

Projects been put on hold for a while as I've screwed my knee (again) and need a 3rd ACL recon. Bit of a bummer as there is less than a weeks worth of work left to do to get the car finished.

Nice attention to detail, and well thought-out. Neat reservoir solution, too.

Wondering why you moved the gas pedal so far from the brake, though. Not using them both at the same time?

Midnite = Brake pedal was really tight with the gas pedal, even for heel/toe. Will still be able to heel/toe but just when I choose to

Guam = Budget lol. Yeah, initially there was, but it came and went a long time ago. Budget was originally £20-£25k.

Thanks guys.

Next knee op has been put on hold for 6 months so fingers crossed it should be ready by the end of this month. Plan is to have it built, run in and dyno'd so will hopefully have some half decent figures to post up.

Rig.. It was actually Terry B's old TA car. I bought the shell and engine.

That is one beautiful car! Loving everything about it so far. Please post some vids of this once you get racing. What model/year Porsche did those brakes come from?

3-4 days work left on the car now to finish it but tbh I've lost my enthusiasm a bit.

Most of this year has been focused on building and paying for parts to get the car running. Gets a bit draining at times so has been locked away til Jan when I will finish it and post some graphs, pics and vids.

Brakes are off a GT3 and are sold to fit by a company over here called Powerstation.

Thanks for the pick-me-ups guys.

Car is due back in the garage at the end of January to get finished. Had to buy a tow car that could double up as a daily driver a couple of weeks ago so I went for a BMW 330d SE Touring and have had the tow bar and electrics done today.

Its winter over here anyway so nothing really starts happening again until March. Car will be up and running by then.

In case I dont post on this thread until Jan, Thanks again for all the positive comments etc and I hope you all have a good festive/holiday period with your families etc.

Matt

Dam one hell of a transformation. I love how you stuck the Nardi on and then cellophane wrapped it even though you guys were still working on it. haha to much to handle, just had to throw it on.

OK. You guys and your positive comments have rekindled my enthusiasm

Spending 5 days on it from the 27th - 31st of this month. Hopefully it'll be more or less ready after that.

As you say Homemade, winter is project car time

Thanks for all the positive comments. Appreciated.
