If anyone is looking for a 2014 swp STI hatch w/ spt exhaust already installed, randy Marion in moorsville nc has one on the lot. They also have a dgm WRX hatch as well.

Went in today for an oil change and they were on the lot.

Probably won't hear much about it in "The 2014 WRX/STI Order Thread".

Waiting on my 14' wrb wrx hatch base with short throw, Spt exhaust, sub/amp, mirror/compass and all season mats to get to my closest CA dealer from a dealer in So Cal... I am excited for my dream car for 12 years since the wrx came here!

BLEGGHHHH I'm getting impatient with this. I've had a bad experience with buying this car, but I know it's worth it.

Gave the dealership $2700 down payment for the car (they haven't received it yet) on 1/2/14.

The guy said somewhere between 1/17 and 2/6, hopefully sooner rather than later. Today is 1/27, and I'm still waiting on the car. My credit union cancelled my loan once already because of "inactivity, not actually buying the car".

I reapplied for the loan, and the 1st person I worked with was on vacation, so I of course got rookie of the year when I reapplied, and she goofed EVERYTHING up, had to basically withdraw everything and apply again once I provided her with an idiot spreadsheet with EVERY DETAIL on it for the financing. Only at that point was she able to figure it out, when the first consumer lending rep I got was super sharp and knew what to do right off the bat.

The two fields that I have on the "SUBARUNET.COM" dealer sheet here is "Scheduled Date" and "Estimated Arrival".

I'm not sure what to expect, the estimated arrival is 2/6, which I should have just counted on that date, but of course the dealer gave me an expectation of something earlier than that. It's my fault that I'm not realistic, but it's just been a s%#^ sandwich of a transaction with everything that's gone wrong.

I hope the car is worth it. I pre-purchased all the car audio stuff for it (all JL Audio equipment, with Kenwood 2DIN head unit) and I also got 16" wheels and snow tires for it. I've never spent this much money at once before, and it's a bit disheartening to see the actual car be the painful part.

Thanks! I'm picking it up tomorrow I'll post some pics. I went with a base wrb hatch that already had the Spt exhaust and trunk tray. Adding fog lights, short throw, all season mats and number cover. Got one of 8 remaining base wrb hatches left in California apparently.

So I got a call from the dealer on Saturday, but it wasn't a good one. Apparently Subaru nixed a lot of '14 orders due to demand?

http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/tri-st...ml#post3296306

So luckily they had a SWP ordered for inventory and I've been told it's been released for delivery to dealer. Still probably a couple more weeks though.

I've seen the list of options posted for the 2015 STI. Would it be possible for someone to post the options available for the WRX? I assume it would not have the same options as the STI for example exhaust and short throw shifter will be different.

Oops, just realized I posted this in the wrong forum - sorry for the confusion!

A little late, but I sold my 2010 WRB STI Special Edition and picked up a 2014 SWP STI on 3/22. I was the second owner of a 2010 and picked it up with 45xxx miles. I was new at the time and didnt know everything the Special Edition lacked that I wanted in the regular STI's. I always wanted a white one as well.

I knew I wanted to pick up a new STI because I wanted to know its history where with my old 2010 one, something never felt right. I knew I had to choose something soon before dealers only have 2015's on the lot (not too fond of the 2015 look). I wanted a 2014 because it is the last model year of the body and wanted the "peace of mind" that all the kinks were worked out from the previous years.

The STI HAD to be a white hatchback. I didnt want anything else. I managed to get one at $36k from Ciocca Subaru. Nicest people and managed to get all the paperwork worked out before the car even arrived into the lot.

Hey guys, I had a local dealer locate me a new 14 sti dark grey hatch, last week. I was told it is at a rail yard awaiting transport and will be redirected to me. My question is, how long usually does transport take? If any of you have been in this situation.

Not sure. When I first saw mine on the dealers website, it showed "in transit" and when I called they said it would be two weeks. Then they called me one week before it was supposed to arrive and told me that it came into the lot.

Well, that didn't take long. I picked it up and is in my garage. I could not be happier. The car is solid and a blast to drive. My first sti or subaru for that matter If I knew how to post pics at this moment I would. Perhaps tomorrow after work. Dark grey is a beautiful color. I'm curious as to why I don't see more of them.

Congrats man! I've got a dark grey 2014 STI hatch as well. Just about to put 750miles on it- took delivery in Feb. I can't wait to get it over 1000, so I can really feel what the car can do, although, I've already used it on on-ramps. This is the first car I've owned in any other color than black- it was a solid choice. Can barely tell when it's dirty.
