Have a Nice Day? Should a person talk by asking themselves a question and then answering it? No.

Does the guidance counselor at the school I work for do this incessantly? Yes.

Could anything be more spine-gratingly annoying as listening to this woman do this for 20 farking minutes at every meeting? No.

Am I going to jam the ballpoint pen as far into my temple as I can in a desperate attempt to distract myself from this pattern? Probably.

Do I typically try to mock people like this by mirroring their behavior when I finally get a turn to talk? Yes.
Does it annoy them as bad as they annoy me? It sure seems like this.
Did I cough up a fairly large throat peanut today? Absolutely.

What's the point of self-talk if you don't reply, numbnuts?

I like to have animated arguments with myself, sometimes cursing and shouting at me. Usually, I win.

It only scares coworkers every now and then.

Talking to oneself is a symptom of genius.

Is there something more annoying? yes
Would that something involve a coworker who is compelled to finish everyone's sentence for them? yes
Has jack learned to think far enough ahead so that when said coworker starts to finish his sentence, jack goes on in a completely different direction so the coworkers sentence ending makes no sense? yes
Does jack care that he now conveys a completely different meaning than originally intended? no
