After eight years housing professional snowboarders, hosting parties and serving as a backdrop for photo and video shoots, the DC Mountain Lab is up for sale. DC Shoes co-founder Ken Block, who bought the property in 2003, recently listed it with Sotheby's at an asking price just shy of $7 million.
Block also has started taking down all manmade obstacles in the terrain park, which opened in 2005, because of a scuffle with the homeowner's association. The Lab is located at The Ranches at The Preserve -- a wildlife preserve located just outside of Park City, Utah --and members of the association wanted the property returned to its natural state that Ken Destroyed. Block complied, but is selling the 3,800-square-foot home on 22 acres (a towrope still remains, which will allow the new home owner to access 10 private runs) with plans to build something even more impressive in an area that will cause less noise with the homeowners association.

When you walk out of the store and can confidently say "yeah, my car is the coolest car in the parking lot".

When you're friends ask if you want to take the beast or their car when going somewhere. And you don't catch it at first but when you do it makes you smile.

When you agree to take someone somewhere just to scare them.
When you can make girls say "i love this car"
When said girl then tells her boyfriend to buy a subaru.
When the boyfriend is jealous of your car.

You know you drive a wrx when people say "not bad" and "is that an sti"
You know you drive a wrx when you have to explain the differences 100230 times a day.
You know you drive a wrx when you think about becoming a traitor and buying an EVO just to stop people from asking if your cars fast.

I was expecting a comment like this and was going to say that expensive doesn't mean cool, but I don't think I would say it with those cars either.
I have only seen like 3 or 4 lotus's on the road where I live ever...

When you'd rather spend the evening driving than having quality time wit the husband/wife
You'd gladly put your last $4.25 in the gas tank instead of buying yourself a meal.
You are always willing to be the DD....Who needs beer?? I get drunk on speed
Your friends don't even bother asking "who is driving" when you go out ....it would be a shame to ride in anything less!
You purposefully forget things at the store just so you can take another drive to get it
When you get a wave from another wrx/sti
Your BF is jealous of the time you spend with your car
When you'd dump a BF because he didnt respect your car(but in his defense he was just jealous!!LAME!)

When you have never accidentally tried getting into a car that looks like yours in a parking lot.

you know you drive a wrx/Sti when everytime a friend gets a new car or an old friend discovers what car you have they immediately suggest that you race them and when you beat them they can't believe their v8 lost to a 4 banger!

By the way for all you people who disapprove of street racing:

this was done on a safe and controlled environment of a track not public roads. I don't feel comfortable putting the public in danger of careless driving and racing over a friendly race

I work as a contractor in a flying squadron for the air force, pilots think they are race car drivers or something. One guy, whose gone now, owned 2 GTRs. IDK how they can afford this.

lmao.

When you plug in a car charger for your phone and the radio becomes unlistenable.

When you use your phone to play your local radio stations, ESPN Radio app that hardly works but works better than car radio, because its being charged.

Never had a car with radio problems like this... did Lucas do the radios for this car?

Yes this is something that douchebags do. Race down residential sidestreets? 16 year old in a Honda civic is revving..... can't resist.......

I remember when some asshats almost ran over a group of kids. He was trying to race some typical honda douchebag who other days usually drives at 6000 rpm at 30mph through our parking lot.

If I want to be a street racing douchebag I at least go to an area where there is nothing to lower the doucheness levels. Do you own a douchebarometer, somecoolbox? Measures the douchepressure in the air. You better be careful racing "anywhere" otherwise your ears might implode from the douchepressure.

When someone in a Ferrari testarrosa blows by you on the highway after spotting you and you just chuckle thinking "its just a WRX not a Lamborghini" happened yesterday on my way home.
