nice transportation rallypig.
Those are fun, cool looking vehicles. Plus it's a Toyota, so it should last 15 years, at which time you can sell it for 10% off it's original value. Not at all like a Subaru. congrats. |

Great truck I was really wanting to get one of these but decided I need a change from my 92 Toy extra cab 4x4 to a Suby... Plus I was hoping that they would come back out with a Turbo Diesel model, which they haven't.
HaHa that Jeep got owned. I'm not sure about the Westin Bull Bar it looks like it take's away clearance and incline approach angles.... Any mods lift bigger better tire? Get the 33 or 35 Yokohama Geolander Mudders they rock plus look sweet on Toy's Last edited by dasnowman; 02-04-2009 at 02:23 PM. |

If u wanna take the FJ wheeling let me know. I can't promise though that it will won't be missing lots of trim at the end of the day I've wheeled with a few FJ's and they work well with a lift and better tires. But I don't imagine with that shiny black paint you'll be doing any bush whacking any time soon Have fun.

thanks for the compliements guys
reason why i got the fj is because i have always wanted a sport utility and last month i got stuck so many times it wasn't funny lol... I was driving an integra with snowies, got stuck like 5 times a day. Didn't want to drive the suby in the snow due to clearance. Also wanted to drive something higher off the ground and in automatic... so thats why i chose the FJ. I didn't like the look of the FJ at first but it just grew on me. A lot of people say "gas is gonna be a bitch" but it isn't as bad as the stage 2 on the suby. Over all, i'm liking it so far and i dont think i'm gonna take her offroad for the 1st 6 months... maybe a lil bit of forest trail runs in squamish haha |

My dad's got one... It's a fun car to do mild off roading but you gotta deal with ****ty handling 99% of the time for 1% of off road fun.

no doubt any suby will have better handling than a SUV... even corollas have better handling... for city driving wise, any truck would have more than enough handling for 60km/hr lol... different cars for different purposes right? i dunno just my opinion |
