That is the one! It has been great so far.

you can powdercoat anything you want. depending how busy your powder coater is and how long it takes him to strip your brembo's it can take anywhere from 2 days to a week.

as long as it's a good clear coat on them, coat them with a nice sealant/wax before you put them on, then use a nice wheels cleaner and power washer, they will be clean forever. just have to keep it from building up thats all.

Went to take off the dealer plate frames today (still running a temp tag, waiting for the NY plates to come in) and I noticed that the dealership just drove two very large screws into the front bumper to attach the front license plate frame with their name/number on it. I'm pretty annoyed, I never asked for a front plate bracket (but then again I never told them not to put on one) NY does require a front and rear plate, but still... Do I have any recourse at this point? I've had the car since Tuesday and just noticed today. I doubt they are going to give me a new front bumper or anything

It's really not a big deal. If you're required to have a plate anyway, it shouldn't make a difference at all. Not really any way to fix it outside of sending it to a body shop or something

Ah ok, I knew I had looked at them in the past and figured that was probably why I had passed on them. Thanks for confirming for me

'11 and '12 hatch owners- do you guys have clips here? Rear wheel well behind the tire. Neither side on my hatch has any clips, and it seems like there should be?

Quick and dirty pic, but you get the idea.

Video of the GFB Hybrid BOV on my car:

I took it easy on the shifting, so you could hopefully hear the valve better. I also did plenty of partial boost shifts so you could hear that it doesn't flutter (like I've had problems with). Unfortunately I had the driver's window up (and the other 3 cracked), so you can't really hear it as well as you could if they all were open. We'll see if I get tired of it or not. Right now I really like it. It seems very responsive, and really isn't all that loud.

I noticed the same on my car as well - no clips there, figured it was for the mudflaps as well.

if i had to have rain guards these would be the ones. they are super slim, and don't stick out like the oem/jdm guards. due to how slim they are you lose a bit of the functionality though. also water gets trapped underneath when you wash your car so i always end up with water spots. it's pretty tight so you can't really get under there without rolling down the windows and i hate rolling down the windows after a wash (smearing & stuff) lol

they attach via 2 sided tape and i've had them on since the beginning of winter with no issues. no noticeable noise while driving either, although even if there was, with your current exhaust setup you wouldn't hear it anyways

Thanks! Sometimes I want to remove the badges, but... it's different having them on there, so I kinda like 'em, too.

25mm, sir. Stock suspension, so no rubbing.

wind noise is my LAST concern as long as they work as rain guards and let some fresh air inside i think i'll go with them.

got really lazy today, took it to a car wash instead of doing it myself. NEVER AGAIN. they missed everything on my wheels, and i have swirl marks out the ass now.
