Well I went to the dealership and I just gave them the TSB number along with a description and they put some extra tape/padding under the dash where the noise was coming from. Definitely fixed the creaking!

I've replaced my headlight bulbs with sylvania silverstars. I've noticed that I have small cracks in the interior side of the clear plastic on the housing. Is this common?

I'd have to go take a look at mine in depth, but when I changed bulbs I didn't notice any cracks. You may want to go to a Subaru dealership and have them take a look at them. Does water condensate inside of them? You don't want to end up with a leak.

I will have a dealership look at them. No water condensation to speak of.

I noticed with mine too that there is some minor cracks on the inside of the housing where the light hits when I changed my bulbs. It almost looks like scratches.....could be one of two things, either that the bulbs caused the cracks or the light is showing the imperfections of the housing. Either way, I don't think your warranty would cover it because you swapped out the bulbs. You could throw the stockers back on and try your luck though....

Has anyone done the quad projector conversion with angel eyes done? Or maybe a DIY? I want to try and duplicate the STI's headlights as shown on the lightwerks website. I only saw it on the site and no where else. So I was wondering if anyone had attempted it. I don't want to ship my headlights to them nor do I want to buy a new set.to ship to them and I would like to try the work myself

This happens to me too, I think it depends on how much you slide you a$$ across the seat when turning to get out. Also, it's more prevalent in winter do to the drier air blowing all around the car.

Try rubbing some fabric softner dryer sheets on the seats, once a week or so.
Or buy some static guard. Problem solved.

I don't think changing your bulbs would void warranty. If its in the terms and conditions of the warranty that Subaru must replace your bulbs for $50 (or w/e the outrageous price is) that would be ridiculous.

The kit seems promising and has an install video for numerous vehicle models. Anyone ever hear of them? I'm not 100% on getting the kit.

I know that if you wanted to change the headlight housing for a new set, there's a chance that it could be unwarranted. Due to the fact that he swapped out the bulbs and if they can trace that the cracks were caused because of it. That's why I said switch back to the stockers, try your luck and tell them the cracks appeared out of nowhere lol

If they do replace the housing. It'd probably happen again. So if its no big deal ill keep it the way it is. Are changing the fog light bulbs on an 09 2.5i difficult? Looked through manual and it said take to dealer.

I want to do that too. I saw it on their site but too bad I can't afford it. I'd keep the highs as halogen bulbs though only because flashing HIDs won't be of much use since they have to warm up.

Yeah I was thinking of retrofitting it and moving the halogen projectors to the high beam area. But I think my high beams would be pretty much rendered useless...oh well form over function I guess lol

Anyone know if '11 WRX rims will work fine with my '08 2.5i?
I figure it shouldn't be an issue (same lug pattern), but I am thinking TPMS.

Lol. I've seen cars with rounded high beam housing that had the dual angels eyes setup. I don't remember the cars but I can tell you they were aftermarket.

Probably were custom made like the STI in the lightwerkz gallery. I wouldn't mind shipping them over, if only my subie wasn't my DD and I could afford it. But I don't have a decent paying job lol
