It will be a 1.5 way.

We will be taking your info and giving you a call for payment, many options available (CC,paypal, cash)

The 180 is stronger but also much heavier and requires new axles, hubs and possibly brakes.

The R160 is lighter and requires less power to turn and with the upgraded LSD you won't have to worry about blowing the spiders out of the factory unit.

Looking at that spider assembly.....I'd say it'll handle 500 RWHP.....Good lord that thing is beefy!

What axles does this use? Assuming any Impreza axle 99+???

I don't think we'll rate it at quite that high, but I would like to think at least 450 ft/lbs.

It will use 99'+ R160 axles (Impreza, Forrester, Legacy)

Finally a decent replace for the rear diff! All I've seen are Cuscos and KAAZ or are there others?

So what's the next weak link[what will probably break first as HP goes up] in the R160 rear end, the axles?

The unit posted up is actually our Honda unit. The one pictured is our 1.0 way with dual torque settings, with options to replace the cam with a 1.0/1.5 or 1.5/2.0 (both fixed ramp angles). Pre-load springs are part of the design to smooth the transition of torque and eliminate chatter. This gives a far more precise feel and much easier to control. Lock % can be adjusted by re-stacking the plates (60-100%).

With the success of our Front Helical LSD, Dylan/DS1 posted this up to see if you guys were interested in us developing an affordable rear Metal Plate unit for you guys as well

Updated shipping info.

There will be a slight clicking noise on slow tight turns as with any plated LSD.

First come first serve, all units will be ordered once all 10 spots are filled.

UPDATE: Shipping will be 1 to 2 months out because they are a brand new product
Dylan, I have a few clarifying questions:

1. Are these going to be made for sure, or only if there are 10+ people interested?
2. Are these under development now, or will they begin development only after we have 10 people? If development starts after 10, then this GB may have a very long lead time.
3. Does MFactory have any of these diffs out in the wild, for any platform? Do we have any product feedback yet at all?
4. Is there going to be a single preload value as a part of the GB, or can we specify what ramp rate want individually?

These are going to be made for sure
We are beginning development currently so there will be some lead time.
They have them out for the Honda chassis with great reviews
I was going to start with the 1/1.5 way for the first batch
