One of the best places you can check the application is tirebuyer.com. You can find the rim over there, you can put it on your vehicle and we are confident we can beat their prices.
They charge $56 for mount/balance, so it looks like that's going to be the route I'll go. I'll call the shop to see what price they will have on the wheels.

Thanks!

they are maxed out already, but if i raise it back up then lower the coil (instead of the actual coilover) so it has about 2-3" (if not more) of gap between the top of the strut and spring i should easily get it lower by doing that

hard to explain but i hope you get it

Good luck finding a set of V7s, as they are becoming pretty rare. Mine actually came off of a crate car that a friend of mine had imported from Japan a few years back, so it was a case of being at the right place at the right time.
Maybe have to "settle" for a set of the UK WRX 17" wheels - if they're still around and I can scrape up enough change...

I love the UK 17s, actually. Someone has/had a set for sale in the classifieds at a pretty reasonable price.

I'm just about to get my V7s repainted in Volvo 451. They were a little scuffed up from the trip from Japan (as they all tend to be). Crossing my fingers that they turn out nice.

Look close, it's two-tone (DGM on bottom OBP on top...)

There's a post in the Plastidip Thread:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...&postcount=103

Did this about 14 months ago, but the plastidip can use a little refreshing. It looks like the sun is getting to it. I'll probably just spray 1 or 2 coats on top of the existing dip.

Awesome:

Hit a chunk of concrete that was in the middle of the road on a turn. Hit hard enough to dent the rim, not just the bead. Not even two weeks on these rims...

Wow... that's rough man. Are you going to replace it, or just hope it holds air and leave it?

Nice, got the same wheels on my hatch. Looks like you went with a pretty narrow tire, are those 215s? They look really stretched. I'm running 235/45s and have had no issues with rubbing.

OUCH. Sorry to see that man. The tire sidewall looks like it took quite a bit of damage too.

Sidewall is trashed, rim is bent beyond what I would trust anyone to repair. Gotta order another, but these are hard to find I guess. Looks like the only place that might have one soon is Tirerack.com, stock available Friday, so I'll have it the following Wednesday. For the tire, I found a used Yoko S34D with the same tread life as my other 3. Just sucks that it happened right after I got the wheels...

Gotta rock the spare till then I guess.

Nope, they are 225-40-18.

I'm not really an expert on tire sizes, I just requested these wheels with these tires (read some good reviews) and this is what the tire/wheel store suggested.

Edit: I confirmed with the wheel/tire guy that installed it. The tires are not stretched; these Michelins have a rim protector on the outside with makes it appear as the tire may stretched but they're not.
