Tires will be in tomorrow, and I'll hopefully have them installed tomorrow or Friday at the latest.

I've read through most of this thread but I'm not having any luck. Has anyone done a different offset for the 14 model? Stock is 55mm and I'm looking at rotas with a 48mm offset. Would that mess with anything?

You're good with +48 offset. This is basic for most, but just in case ... most important is the correct bolt pattern ... then the diameter especially the width of the wheel and what size of tires you plan to use Use this website to compare your factory specs and your planned set-up: www.willtheyfit.com It will tell you the changes you will expect from set up #1 to set up #2 Have fun modding and stay safe. |

Yeah I looked already but I wasn't too sure. Going from 5x100 17x7 +55mm to 5x100 17x7.5 +48mm. Willtheyfit.com says I won't have a lot of issues with the speedo or anything and I heard I can stretch my current tires on the new setup. |

BTW, what size tires? If it was me, I'd push the ET to poke out more for a better looking stance but not enough to require fender rolling. I use 17x8 +35 wrapped with wider than stock 225/45-17 tires, RSR springs lowered and fender needed to be rolled. If you're going to use factory tires & not lower the car, +40 offset is still good with your planned 17x7.5 wheel without fender rolling. Last edited by NubImpreza; 07-02-2015 at 11:48 AM. |

I had 17x7.5 +48 with 225/45's for a bit and I had room to spare. Don't worry about anything close to OEM (17x7 +48 205/50R17) for 17" models.

Need to lower it still. 18x9.5 with a 215/40/18 tire.

2012-2013 Impreza Rims & Wheels Gallery Thread
I know it's been done before and pictures have probably been posted but can someone helpful share a link to any picture of 225s mounted on 9" wide wheels? I just wanted to see how much stretch it gets and how the tire bead relates to the outer edge of 9" rim.
To those who say: use the SEARCH button ... I tried to search NASIOC but there are hundreds of pages to peruse and I don't have that much time on my hands to look for a picture of a specific tire on a specific width of rim. Last edited by NubImpreza; 07-04-2015 at 04:28 PM. |

Thanks bro. It wouldn't hurt if you post a pic of your set-up. I'd still like to see it but I have a 225/45-17 on a 17x8 which comes pretty close to how your set up looks like. Reason why I'm asking is that I just purchased an identical wheel set but 9" wide. I plan to transfer my older 225s on the 9" wide set and plan to use the 8" wide rims for winter wrapped with 215/50-17 winter tires. I know there will be some stretch but to what degree ... I want to see. |

Yep back to stock height with a 1/4" saggy butt spacer. Needed the ground clearance back and I'm loving it.
Thanks! Like he said, Sparco Assetto Gara in bronze. 17x7.5 |

Would you say that the 1/4" is all you need on stock suspension or would you go a hair more? Looking at mine (sport also) it doesn't seem like that'd totally level it out.. I gotta park on level ground and take some measurements instead of eyeballing it lol.
