Default They said it couldn't be done: Dyno Day at Mach V Open House 3/26/05

I know, I said before it would be too hard to do dyno runs at the same time as our open house, but I didn't want to wait too long before the next dyno day, and Ultimate Peformance boss Brian assures me we have to staff to manage it. So...

What: Mach V Open House/Dyno Day

When: Saturday, March 26, 2005

Where: 45064 Underwood Lane, Sterling VA, 20166

Details: As before, the day will be broken down into 40-minute slots from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, which you'll reserve by calling us and giving us your credit card info. (Sucks to have the staff set up for a dyno day and nobody shows up, y'know?) First come, first served on the slots, so if you're thinking about it, call sooner rather than later. Cost is $75 per slot, plus $25 if you want air/fuel exhaust gas analysis. In 40 minutes, you can usually get a car strapped down and have 2-3 good runs with some cool-down time in between.

Dyno day is intended to get baseline numbers for your car, not for tuning, but if you want to switch boost settings or something simple between runs, you can, and you are welcome to datalog or otherwise record your runs. Leave me your e-mail and I'll send you the Dynojet data files.

Call to sign up! (703) 435-5000.

Edit:

The schedule
9:00 '03 Evo
9:40 '05 Acura TL
10:20 '04 Forester
11:00 '05 WRX STi
11:40 "yergi" - '04 WRX sedan
12:20 Ed O'Donnell - Silver '04 WRX wagon
1:00 James Low - Silver '04 WRX wagon
1:40 Jay Jones - WRB '02 WRX
2:20 '04 WRX
3:00 '04 Evo
3:40 Jeremy Parker - '04 WRX STi
4:20 smoke break, I mean '03 Evo

If you want me to add your name to the schedule, PM me. Otherwise, I've just put the cars for privacy reasons.

There were a couple of 2.5's there last time. I am not sure what they pulled but it is always good to know where you are at and if any of the mods you have done have made an improvement or not! I need people to roll up there with anyway, so you should go!

Love to be there and see what your beast can do but can't commit. Someone please take a video camera and shoot some footages for me, just in case.

I do not know if a video of my car is warranted as there were alot of nicer ones there last time! The trick will be getting them hosted so we can all see them!

I'm sure someone will host. We need more FXTs. Hey, I forgot if yours was stock or tuned. You and maestro are the heavier modded FXTs, right? Where's maestro? Hulloooooooo...

Yes, Maestro is modded and so is Grocery Getter. He dyno'd last time and hit 268 I think. I have a full exhaust where neither of them do and Maestro does not have a tune as of yet just the sti ecu. Don't sleep on either car as they are both really quick! Like I said, I am hoping to see something near 280 with mine.

Its normally $100 for an all whell drive dyno and $75 for FWD. Plus $25 for A/F. So your getting a $25 discount.
