Question OT: Anyone know what "car" this is?

Sorry, I don't have any pictures of it. But I saw it running around the South End in Boston.

It was bright yellow, and it was essentially a three-wheeled motorcycle fitted with a body to enclose the driver. It looked brand new, and I couldn't chase the driver down since it whizzed right past me. Any ideas? It looked like a pretty cool city machine.

Cheers,

Rey

No, that's not it. The one I saw seemed more "commuter" oriented, rather than performance oriented. The one I saw was more upright, and skinny.

Oh, that was probably a Corbin Sparrow. They were profiled in Autoweek awhile back.

Did you see the specs on the Merlin (the orange "car" above?) The web site states 150hp @ 750 lbs. Yikes! With the exception of getting into an accident, I'd have a hard time talking myself out of one of these things for zooming around in the city!

yeah the Merlin is pretty damn sweet, but $17.5k sweet? I dunno. Would be fun to drag, though. I wonder if they'd classify it as a motorcycle, because if they didn't, it'd be whoop arse time!
