Default HELP: Fog lights to first click? (JDM Style?)

Sorry, I've tried looking it up, but couldn't find a write-up on it.

I have an 04 WRX and I was wondering how would I be able to change my Fog Light settings to instead of the 2nd click to the 1st click.
I am assuming that the 2nd click is the USDM style and the 1st click is the JDM style.
( correct me if I'm wrong )

Any help would be great. Thank you.

You could probably just rewire them to the parking lights .

I'm also interested in this. I was taught (and agree) that having the headlights on totally defeats the purpose of fog lights. No idea why Subaru set them up this way.

I believe that the following write-up may allow you to do so: http://www.scoobymods.com/fog-drivin...&threadid=1022

If however you want to wire the foglamps so that you can turn them on at anytime (e.g. no parking or headlights; with parking lights; with headlights; with highbeams), then here's a post I contributed to (#28): http://www.ctsubie.com/forum/showthr...her+job&page=2

That's because foglamps are to be used with the lowbeams. If you had driving lamps then those would be wired to be used with the highbeams.

I do agree with you that headlamps cause too much glare feedback during foggy conditions. If I am correct, outside of the US (e.g. Europe) one can turn on just the parking lamps and then turn on the foglamps (without the headlamps on).
