Subaru's don't need turbo timers. I'd call it a mistake to install one.

I'm installing it for the turbo timer function... More for the other functions.. That's why I got the Type 1 and not the Type 0! The Type 0 is just a turbo timer.. The Type 1 has speed functions, RPM 0-60 1/4mile, Volt Meter...
Can anyone help?? |

You'd be better off with a Cobb AP, then you can get those same features and be able to tune the car via OTS maps or real good Pro-Tuned ones.

Not always the answer . He may already have a good tuner that uses open source software. AP cost $695, which would be a waste for what he wants to do. OP, here is a plug and play harness that should help you do what you want. http://www.momentumgt.com/hks-turbo-...08-p-2855.html |

I have that harness!! It's only for the ignition wiring!! I need to find the other wirings and plug them in as well!! It's a 7 wire system, 3 to the ignition, 1 ground, and the other 3 go to the speedo, tach and hand brake!
I have no need for the AP!! I don't need to spend 700 bucks on 40 HP!! |
