My friends and I are trying to get into some mid range to long range shooting. Probably like 300-600 yards. Right now none of us have any serious long range setups so mid range would be better for us.

My friends dad is gonna make us some metal silhouettes to shoot at.

Gonna use my Colt 6520 light weight AR and my M96 Swedish 6.5x55 Mauser for it. Both iron sights.

Would love to go out with you guys some day. And you shoot out by my house.

That might work... Until everyone realizes that I'm not even old enough to buy the ammo for the gun I would carry..

Hey KP, you can always start with Airsoft. Just kidding, but it's not a bad way to get in some FoF training.

Be interesting to have a SWIC airsoft team (like paintball but without the mess) especially for CQB.

Ok...that's cool.

It's a viable training tool.

Same training regime, less death...shooting is a frangible skill, not everyone can make it to the range daily/weekly.

Think about that.

I'm just giving you a hard time for giving me a hard time. I actually still have a couple airsoft guns from back in the day.

question for those fellows out there who have knowledge of AK's (NOT kp): with tax moneys, should i get this:

http://www.jgsales.com/product_info....oducts_id/2128

or this?:

http://www.jgsales.com/product_info....oducts_id/4082

I have heard Romie's are pretty much bottom of the barrell, but what about Polish? is it really worth $270 more to get non-romanian?!?
