Ok so just did some digging
H11zxe 4200k 55w 1345 lumens H9 standard 3200k 55w 2099 lumens So with those numbers which would be brighter and shine better. Is a higher color temp better or a higher lumens Edit So I just compared standard and zxe 9005 high beams. Both have same lumens 1700 bit color temps are diff 3200k and 4200k but there is deff a difference in brightness |

The color temp does not dictate the brightness of the lightbulb. Also, tinting a halogen bulb to give off white light does not make it brighter. |

It is the lumens that determin brightness. The 3200k, etc is the color only. 2099 lumens is way brighter than 1345 lumens. 4200k is a little bit more on the blue side compared to 3200k but it isn't that much of a difference. Lights that are tinted more toward blue might be perceived to be brighter by some people, but that's just because most people's eyes are more sensitive to blue light compared to yellow light. It's not going to overcome the difference between 754 lumens though. I have a flashlight that's about 750 lumens and it lights up an entire field all by itself.. 750 lumens is a lot of light. It's a massive difference between those two light bulbs. |

I have one of these-- It weighs about 1 pound. http://www.bloxracing.com/bloxshop/i...product_id=308 I took it off though, using a COBB Delrin now.. Love the COBB Delrin knob.. Blox was great too, just a lot different, and got really cold in the winter, and really hot in the summer.. The Delrin stays very comfortable no matter what, and is a lot bigger. |

BLOX make a spherical stainless knob too, but I don't think it's a whole lot bigger. For me that COBB knob is the perfect size, and it is spherical too.. it is a little bigger than stock in diameter I would estimate. It is not nearly as heavy though obviously.. http://www.rallysportdirect.com/COBB...-Subaru-Models |

Edit You were also late on responding. I already figured out there is a diff in lumens. |

Actually it's the lower colors (yellow) that work better in rain and fog. Reason why you see most fog lights being yellow.
The higher colors (blue/purple) actually cause your eyes more strain when trying to concentrate on seeing what's in front of you. |

High lumens and low color temp 4000k-4300k is best. The more color (higher color temp) you have the less usable light you'll have... Which is why 3000k (yellow) provide the best lighting in inclement weather. I have H9 bulbs in my headlights, 9005 in my high beams, as well as yellow 9005 in my fogs, and yellow bulbs in my HELLA fog lights.

Make sure to re-grease the Kartboys SS. You can re-use the grease from your stock shifter. They put A LOT of grease in there. Tell her to order some front and rear Kartboys bushings. Without them the shifts will still be shorter but they will still be sloppy. With the bushings it removes nearly all of the shifter play and gives you crisp, positive shifts. |
