Honestly couldn't tell you, we just started cutting pieces off of the roll. So we never actually measured out the entire amount. I'd figure 16" x 60" at most.

Coming from someone who has used this material a ton, I can tell you the back of your seats would be a cake walk to do, this material stretches a good 3 inches before it deforms or starts to rip, you just need to apply slow heat and take your take, those curves on the seats the material would easily conform to.

and to all who may call it rice, you are definitely entitled to your opinion, but I have ton a few pieces on my car that are easily visible from the out side

In person I get completely different results, I have had strangers tell me I had a nice car, some guys in older American muscle cars who I figured would come bash the 4 cylinder turbo complimented me on the car, and at a few subaru meets, I have had people swarming the roof of the car, badges, and interior, asking me to do it for them, so this stuff in person, though not real carbon fiber, still makes the car pop, and unique.

Had an old scratched up gas tank for my dirt bike. Thought I would use it to play around with some of this stuff. I only did the parts you can see so everything on the bottom and under the seat and plastics looks horrible. lol

Oh, colors are obviously way off. It's a cell phone pic.

Looks good though. Yeah, that's the reason why wrapping only works with things that can be tucked in against something. The underside is always a mess.
Once it's well set though, don't hesitate to cut some of the over run off though.

Yeah, I will trim it up a little better later. I got finished late last night and threw it on just to take a pic.

If you hate the product so much, why waste your time on the forum, and why give the guys that do it a hard time??? Why care what people do to their own cars?

So when I wrap my 1:1 scale fake real vrx copy of a wrx made by fuji made by subaru with real vinyl material simulating another real material it will be real fake, or really fake?

I'm gonna wrap my real carbon fiber hatch with fake carbon fiber the wrap it again with real carbon fiber. What will it be then?

The guy with the fully wrapped car lives in the same town as me. It looks amazing in person! A lot of people hate on it but I think its pretty sick!

The amount of times people have told me they hate vinyl wrapped anything, and then sit in my car, and are blown away with the quality of my wrap... it's changed the opinion of quite a few people (and I will say that my wrap is far from perfect).

The trick is to take your time, use a good heat gun, pre-treat tricky shapes with adhesion promotors... and TAKE YOUR TIME... It will turn out really well. Also try not to learn how to wrap on stupidly complicated pieces like I did. Three re-wraps later, I was finally able to get door controls that looked decent (and they still arn't perfect).

But there is ALWAYS a few haters... and oddly enough those are usually the guys that want real CF car parts but can't drop the coin to do so, so they bitch and complain.

If someone sold a FULL interior real CF console, that didn't cost $3G's (and that's not the glossy ****ty stick on's) I'd buy it, but until someone does... I'll stick with vinyl.

That's exactly the reason why I did mine.

Smoothing and getting ready to do my wingless trunk lid....

Now before I get the roll-eyes from people... I CAN'T USE A CARBON TRUNK LID...

I'm an "audio geek" and quite literally, I can't use a carbon lid, because it's TOO LIGHT AND FLIMSY... !!!

This is the underside of my current non-wingless lid...

The wingless lid is actually getting filled internally with sound deadening liquid...

I'm sure this was covered but after reading all 9 pages I must have missed it. I just got this for my 04 STI and I don't think I prepped the panels correctly b/c by the next day it was pulling right off all the corners and looks like crap. Mainly the "inner" section of the radio trim, around the knobs of the heater controls, and the corners of the air vents.

Whats the best way to prep the panels and did you use any adhesion promoter??? Also once it was attached is it cut along the edges or did you guys wrap it around the back of the panel???

Thanks in advance. I'll hopefully be redoing my panels this weekend (hopefully I have enough wrap to do it over)

How did you prep the panel? did you wipe it down with anything?

Hot glue might help in the tough spots..

I wonder what this adhesion promoter is... Acetone?

I used a heat gun... and it seemed to stick pretty well but by the next day every tight corner had come off.

I wiped it down with a little soap and water then let it fully dry. I was afraid to use any kind of mineral spirits, Acetone, etc because I didn't want to destroy the panel in case I didn't like the CF look. The adhesion promoter I was talking about is basically just extra spray glue or any sort of primer for the glue.
