One of the easiest things you can do... you need a 14mm & 15mm box & socket, a rachet, and jack stands... and a socket for whatever size the turbo heat shield bolts are (9mm?). Oh, and WD40 and new turbo-side and doughnut gaskets. Takes about an hour....

It was actually putting my old WRX back to stock. I usually put the O2 sensor in before strapping the pipe back into the exhaust, but I forgot, and had already put everything back together. So I was trying to do it under the car, my hand slipped and I rounded the sensor bolt a bit, and punched the crap out of the heat shield. Good God did that hurt. Took forever to get all the grease / grime out of the cut, too. |

if you've never installed parts on your car, then this is not the easiest thing to do, but with a couple weeks on and off researching what you need and what steps to take, should be doable. Depends if it's worth your time to learn and possibly buy or borrow tools. And cutting that turbo heatshield.....
