This was in beckley wv, that is pretty much the normal place I go. I go to a few other places deep in the woods like pemberton, whitbey, coal city, prosperity.

Any sense in picking up a 2001 land rover disco and modding it, or would it be asking for trouble?

Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping he says yes and agrees to the cheaper price. If everything works out, I'm going to have to throw new brakes on as soon as I get the car as the front pads are so worn they may not make the trip home. |

They are great and sound so sick with a high flow muffler. My friend has an 01. But he is starting to have alot of problems "electrical" from it. Major thing is parts are expensive to replace, and a lot of places don't like to work on them.

Land Rovers are money pits, plain and simple. In my opinion, the only ones worth dealing are Defenders.
...because they're the coolest ****ing things on the planet. |

It sucks, if I go out to the old coal mines out Sanderson I usually run in to large truck hauling drilling equipment on a very narrow gravel road and the other spots are currently being timber'd. Not that I do a whole lot of wheeling anymore. |

Wow, logging into P4X4 made me realize how long I've actually been debating doing this.
