The way i see it. If you are having trouble with the rear of your car sliding out from under you then its time for an upgraded sway bar. Or if you have the base model with no sway bar.
Similar to brakes. When you have put the best pads best tires and you cant break grip and you are still not happy then its time to get better calipers. Otherwise you are wasting money. So basically what im saying is that every mod needs to serve more of a purpose than the just say "hey look at what i got" |

If the rear of the car is sliding out, then that suggests oversteer to me. Most people add sway bars to reduce understeer, not oversteer. So the way I see it, if you are having trouble with the front of your car plowing and not turning in, then you need a (bigger) sway bar.

I personally would just get a 2011 STi 19mm rear sway bar for close to fifty bucks than a Perrin that is 3mm bigger but costs like $300 more.

I have seller who has STi sway bars, front and rear for $50. It's from an '09, so 18mm. Should I go for it? Swap out my 16mm from the 2012 SP.

The manual says not to use tire chains because of lack of clearance, but you can use other types of traction devices that are SAE class S on the front tires only. And says that damage caused by using any traction device is not covered under warranty.

In regards to the RSB on the 2012 Impreza Sport Limited, I just ordered a 2011 STI 19mm unit from Subaruonlineparts. I can just swap the OEM 16mm unit out and use the existing hardware right?

Yup. It should come with the bushings, as you will need to swap those too.

My 22mm Perrin kit is on the way! We'll get it installed the same day and try out each others car.

Sounds good, awaiting shipping confirmation for my RSB and it should only take a day from Hicksville.

For those of you who replaced the OEM DRL and Foglamp bulbs with LED units, any loss in the amount of light thrown out? I am looking the at ijdmtoy offerings in white but don't want to sacrifice throw to get the nice white color/appearance.

Anyone do some 2010-2012 WRX Suspension take offs on the new age Impreza yet? The set ups look nearly identical (minus STi).
In particular a 5 door. |

By replacing your DRL bulb to LED, don't you loose your high beams since it's the same bulb?
