Don't remember if you mentioned this, but are you running stock sleeves on the motor or did you replace them?

Decided to put it on the dyno at the MPS bbq to see if the turbo was dying or not because I was suspecting it was. Needed 2% more duty cycle to make the same boost from before so my suspicions were correct. Time for a rebuild or GTX3076!

Did make more power though!

Might as well make a video of me trying to smoke a 600cc bike with 450whp too.

Would a gtx3076 be a step down from your current turbo?

I think he was talking about going with more low end power. with a GTX3076R power will come on hard at 3k and will push all the way to redline. and still be netting around 500whp

interesting choice on the GTX3076. i would have thought you would "upgrade" like to a GT37 or GT40, reguardless of it being road raced lol.

i was trying to find the video of the rotational/cyclic idle but it has disappeared from your youtube

It was awesome seeing this car at the BBQ last week. Very impressive work! Alex looked like a little girl at a Justin Beiber concert when he got back from his ride.

Yeah, right now the car comes on hard in the 4-5k range depending on what gear. Bringing it down to 3k would be perfect. I'm always driving around on 21-23 psi which is around 500whp anyways which is perfect for me.

Not many cars that live in my area that want to play around on the street. If there is it's a pretty rare occurrence and I won't have a camera on me

Exactly how you break in a dirt bike.

Run it just like you are going to run your car everyday.

True that. I've read alot about it but can't decide which way to go. Just don't wanna throw my money down the drain. I assume alcoolaid knows since he built his engine and its running great

I just ran it to break in the cams including warm up. That took like 20 mins then did an oil change. Let the engine cool back down cold then started it back up and drove 50 miles 3-4k rpm around 5psi max boost. Cool down engine and change oil again. Drive like 100-150 miles 5-6k rpm and 10-15psi max. Oil change again then 6-7k rpm and 20psi max. After that it was synthetic oil and all out dyno tune.

My car sounds ALMOST as good as yours! Had a chance to start it yesterday. Pretty soon I'll let you know how the gtx3076 performs.

I just watched your 1/4 mile pass on youtube and I must say it is awesome! I love how at the end the guy handing you the slip tells you to slow down because you don't have a roll bar. It was well edited and def entertaining. What are their rules for bars or cages? I thought most places you had to break into 10's for a cage. Or is it dependent on trap speed?

At my local track if your ET is quicker than 11.49 you need a roll bar. I'm sure there's a requirement if you're over a certain trap speed as well but I'm not sure what it is off the top of my head.
