7th Annual Madison Subaru Meet
We're bringing it back, and better than ever this year! Come all ye faithful Subaru enthusiasts and spend a weekend rubbing shoulders with your brethren, while enjoying good food, good tunes, and plenty of tire smoke and exhaust fumes!
When? June 8th and 9th The festivities will be kicked off on Saturday with a dyno day hosted by our good pals over at Kelly Moss Motorsports at their jaw-dropping new location. The cogs are turning to organize an autocross at Madison International Speedway on the same day, right now we are still gauging interest in this so please post if you would like to participate in an autocross. The fun will continue on Sunday with a BBQ and car show at the Don Miller Subaru dealership on the eastside of Madison. We will have good food catered in, a DJ, tons of great swag to give away, as well as Bucky Lasek's rallycross STi to show off! Sound awesome? It should, because it totally is awesome! An exact schedule of events and cost is on its way, this is an early warning to go ahead and block off the weekend on your calendars! I will update with more information as it becomes available. I look forward to seeing you all there!

Is there a sign up page or is this just a come one come all kind of deal? Madison is my home town so I'd love to swing up for this.

Right now it is "come one, come all"!
I'm still taking a head count for commitment to do an autocross. If we get enough hands raised who want to do it, then we will go ahead and book the track. Once we get a few more details sorted out with Kelly Moss we will need to get a schedule made for who is running on the dyno, most likely in half hour slots. The dyno day has generally been booked full in years past so if that is of interest to you, pay close attention to the FB so that you don't miss out. |

Not a rallycross. We would be doing an autocross, which is a wholly different thing. Since we are still gauging interest and discussing how we can schedule it in such a way that participants wouldn't need to choose between the dyno or an autocross, I can't really quote a final cost right now.
We are considering doing it as a pay per run, or pay per heat event right now. Once we get a good amount of interest in participation of an autocross we will know what the price will be. Depending on how we schedule it, the autocross will most likely cost $35 as pay per heat, or $5 as pay per run. All you need to run is a car that will pass a tech inspection, a helmet that is Snell rated SA85 or M85, and be at least 16 years old and a licensed driver. |
