Looks like the site opens no earlier than 4pm on Friday afternoon, according to scca.com. Anybody have recommendations about arrival times, good places to eat, etc?

For your NJ/PA guys, we have a caravan leaving from the MClub/MSNE Event at the Meadowlands on Friday the 6th. We're leaving around 1:30 or so. 4 cars are going to caravan up so far.

I'll be there in STS. I'm also the only entrant not driving a FWD car, so we'll see how that goes.

The Fitrari would DOMINATE!!!! Too bad you might have work, EVIL STi.

I'm registered for the event: STU #3. I just gotta throw on my ridiculous STi trunk/wing. I wish I could run wingless, I hate that wing

This M-Club/MSNE caravan is leaving before the points-event-runs Friday?! Why not leave afterwords? That was my plan.

It's not really a MSNE caravan... we just chose the site since my friends are organizers of the club, and wanted to be there to help out with the school. We may leave later, depending on how things shake down. My wife may want to do some shopping or something else gawdawful that day

I'll probably just crash at home in the city and head out dark-and-early Saturday... unless the Friday night Welcome Party comes highly recommended by those who have been there in past years.

I'll be there in 128FSP. My co-driver will be 28FSP. I hope to continue this year's good streak at the Tour. Last year, I was doing well with much lesser preparation (until I corded the Hoosiers). This year, I aim to make up for it.

You WILL be shorting yourself by not showing on Friday. You really need to get tech and stickers and such taken care of friday as well as walking the course a billion times. If you've never run at a place like Devens or DC this will be an eye-opener. Average speeds are MUCH higher than anywhere else we run in the tristate (NNJR, Giants, nassau, etc) .They also start quite early on sat and esp sunday due to the fact that all the paperwork is done.

I think I'm gonna give the new car (and myself) a break that weekend, since it will have seen four, maybe five events in a row.

Corey, I am excited to run with you in STU again. I didn't realize you were a national contender when you came to Perry's test and tune early this season. I'll stop by and say Hi and introduce myself. Good luck!

No, but if you don't get a muffler before then, the sound meter might!

New plan of attack is a smoke screen ala Bond. Mike won't be able to see the course due to the oil smoke.

I think I followed you out onto course more times than he did. Watch where you aim that thing! ;-)

LOL. I fear you when you get the money together to rebuild that thing. I'm sure that engine is tired. Hmm, maybe you need to get into something with a stout engine... a BMW maybe? :P

me + torque = oh look! I just went through that gate going the other way!

wait, that's me in just about anything.....

ok, default excuse. I couldn't afford to run a bmw.

We'll see what this http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pro...asp?RecId=5380 has to say. I might break down and do an in car overhaul. New rings and a fresh head. I could have it done while I vacation in Peru (the country).
