Default Turbo Lagging after Driving at El Mirage...what do I do?

I took my car out to El Mirage on Saturday and drove it around in the dirt.
My car was very dirty afterwards, so I cleaned everything up (INCLUDING air filter). Now it seems to be lagging. The turbo is lagging when I go WOT, seems to be kicking in at later RPMs.

Do I need to clean the MAS ? If so what do I use to clean?

Could it be anything else?

Take a quick look at your tmic. It could have a small hole in it. It happened to mine and i could still hit full boost but it took awhile and felt a bit slower.

Also if not try reseting the ecu, and clean the maf sensor, use brake cleaner or starter fluid.

NO! The MAF is VERY delicate..brake cleaner will destroy it..

Use Electronics Cleaner spray..

yeah listen to this guy...it is very delicate and expensive to replace I cleaned mine with just a thin paper towel no lubricant and that worked out well just be careful. And resetting the ecu may help because your ecu may have learned some funky stuff while you were messin around so try that what have you got to lose?

.....So I checked the MAF sensor, and the thing was black!

I bought the MAF sensor cleaner at pep boys for $5. Sprayed the cleaner on the sensor, Reset the ECU, and everything is running great now! No Turbo Lag anymore!

This Sensor cleaning solution made a world of a difference. I would definately recommend for everyone to clean the sensor everytime you clean your air filter.
