Not too many people run STS locally, so it'll be a good experience for me. Even if it means finishing last...

Remember water sprayers for tires with temps being in the mid to upper 90's. Also if you haven't been to deven's before, there is 0 shade, so bring SPF, umbrella's and or tents.

Its been 5 years since my last tour event. Am quite excited. My bro is coming up from Florida to co-drive and apparently bringing some Florida heat and humidity with him.

Watch out for those guys in the SM hondas. I may come out to watch. I'll be up early - Chris likes to sing in the shower.

Are cars and equipment allowed to be left on site overnight?

Yes, the site is locked at night, so you can leave stuff there. No camping though, everyone has to leave.

DSPL heat 1, DSP heat 2. Could be interesting with impound.

Most of the ladies' classes don't seem to have enough entires to get contingency, or even decent competition.

I wonder if we could get BSPL, SML, and the female entrants in BSP (my wife) to go into SML to at least give them a shot at some contingency?

Is that a silly idea?

how many people does that make? I would almost consider moving (since I have no desire to run in SM anyway )

Hello Marnie With yourself, my wife Kristin in BSP, and Stephanie from BSPL (if we could convince her) you guys could have your own class.

KC, maybe you could chime in regarding contingency? I would assume with three entrants - SML to assure everyone is legal I guess - they could get something?

I am quite sure 3 cars in class at an NT gets reduced contingency for the winner from Kumho & Hoosier. Sounds worth it for the ladies from a competition standpoint.

Yeah, I checked the Kumho contingency (that's what I run). With 3 entrants it's $100 to first place; with 4 entrants it's $200 to first and $100 to second. I can't find a potential fourth competitor on the entry list, though. Do you know Stephanie? Let's talk tomorrow...

there is a potential 4th registered in DS open. she drives a silver mazdaspeed 3, if someone has the motivation they should be able to find her tomorrow night. dont think she likes the idea of ladies class, so may have to sway her vote

The class the ladies would run in would not be PAX'd... so the person in the MS3 might be a little outgunned against the BSP and SM cars...

Updated weather as of now: 92 on Saturday and 93 on Sunday!!!!
