Almost looks like a borla or aps, but the aps midpipe shouldn't "rust" like that. Or is that mud?

becauase it doesn't say cobb on it, because of how ugly the bend of that visible pipe is and because of the design, i'd say it's the ebay cobb rep (m2, surewinn, grimmspeed, etc) exhaust.

Doesnt quite look like a Cobb so I would guess its either a Cobb knock off or a universal Magnaflow muffler welded to a custom midpipe which would explain the funky bends

Decided to switch things up and do what I think is the first center exit exhaust on a hatch. Custom axel back with a $30 Summit Racing muffler and HKS tips.

^ that looks terrible, creative but still terrible... You have two perfectly good holes in your bumper already cut out for an exhaust

I like the thought. If it actually resulted in shorter piping I would be even more for it. I also think it would look better with the tips closer together. Anyways, it's creative and looks well executed!

Take a underbody picture please, I would like to see if maybe there could be different routing ideas. Love the idea, agree with the tips being closer, and definitely a custom diffuser is to come now!!

I like it but in my opinion it would look 10x better if there was a way to fill in the original exhaust exit notches.

Thanks, a diffuser was definitely in the back of my mind in coming up with this, but for now I just wanted a meaner exhaust note without dropping a grand. I know the tips would look alot better closer together but i decided to work off the existing body line. When I upgrade to stage 1 I'll repipe it with a better muffler and come up with a more efficient design for the exit. More pics and video to come.

How does it sound? I wonder if equal amounts of fumes come out of each tip or not.

Its sounds good, above 5k rpm there is a blow by noise, but this being my daily it doesn't bother me that much. I'll find a better piping configuration next time around.

I like it. Wish I would have known about the HKS tips, would have put a pair on my Porsche.

LS1 996 with a home built exhaust (about 2ft long ).
