Mine is yellow and does have high mileage at nearly 40,000, but it runs like a champ. Comes with the front fairing, which I removed when I added an Aztec 8 front light, an M4 slip-on exhaust, and brand new front and rear tire and battery. Also has a lot of little add on things that I won't list here because the list is long.

I've personally done all the maintenance since I've owned it. My price is $1350 firm because I'm not an idiot and I know it's high mileage.

This is basically what it looks like now.

EDIT: Forgot to add that the previous owner (Frank, back me up on this, because I think it was the previous owner) laid it down at relatively low speed, but there isn't much damage. Just a small scrape on the exhaust can. It's never been down or damaged with me.

Ugh terrible timing. If I wasn't in the middle of purchasing a house I would snatch that up. =(

That's how it worked for me for a year. Same thing happened again with the new bike. I know what I want, and then can't find it.

You going to be at Cresson this Sunday?

You are more than welcome to pit with us.
Should be about 4 of us there unless more from the club so.
2 of us will be in Level 2 and the other 2 will be in Level 3.
I may do both Saturday and Sunday.

Was really thinking about it. I really was trying to pick up some used warmers before I started up on the track again. My buddy got me some AMA race take offs that I really need to stop heat cycling so much at track days.

That and my subie needs a strut replaced and its making my camber way off. Nervous about how much my tire gets chewed up.

There will be a tire vendor there and they sell trackday tires that do not require warmers.

I love having warmers but really unless you are running race pace I would save my money. If you make it out there let me know, I will be there. I have a white Tacoma and a Dark metallic green 06 GSXR, with a white tank.

I have to ask, is there a particular reason you want an F4i?

On a side note, kickstand mount is broken, threads are stripped and part of the engine case halve is cracked to hell on the Duc. Yay.

What happened to the Duc?

Most people want F4i's because they are the first of the FI hondas, they are dirt cheap also, and good running bikes. But issue is they are older now, most have become stunt bikes and are ragged out. You can throw a rock at CL and hit a FI bike. I would suggest doing your homework, take someone that knows bikes with you and don't buy more than you can handle.

The main reason is because from what research I have done, if you can find one that ha been taken care of they are on the more dependable side of sport bikes.

With modern bikes, anything with low miles will be dependable, if you keep up with it.

A long time ago when the F4i came out it was different cause everything was carb.

Got to check those valves, and keep up with brakes and suspension and these sportbikes will last a lot longer than you think. Know a guy with a RC51 that has over 30k on the clock and another guy with a Shiver with 50k.

Were you spinning the bike? Can't do that with Duc, those kickstands are as strong as the Jap bikes or the Ape's.

That is a massive front tire. Is that custom? I don't see many like that, how does it turn?
