Question STi cost of maintenance compare to our WRX?

I'm a little worried on that since we're spending all of our money on the STi (for me at least), I'm kinda having nightmare about maintaining this baby...

The areas where an STi will cost more:
* insurance
* gas
* probably brake pads (the cost of replacement, not sure about increased frequency of)
* definitely tires!
* speeding tickets.

Other than that, it is probably like any other happy little Subaru motor, just keep that oil fresh and treat it like the fine piece of machinery that it is.

Right off the bat, it'll be tires and wheels. Doesn't come with all-weather or winter appropriate tires.

... but doesn't the fact that you actually have an STi outweigh the fact that it will cost more

Signed, one very jealous WRX owner.

If you are worried about the cost of maintaining a STI, maybe you should be thinking about an Impreza TS or Legacy L instead...

They cost alot less, are more reliable, and won't get you as many speeding tickets...

Also, not quite as bad a**!!!
